Ever since my husband and I had about five rolls of toilet paper left, we decided to shop for some more, without going overboard.
I noticed that shopping for toilet paper these days—whether at supermarkets, shopping centers, or on online—must be equivalent to searching for gold treasure chests, and iridescent mermaids, in the vast oceans of this world.
We’re good for the time being, probably a couple of weeks, but it definitely wouldn’t be a pretty sight (or smell) if we waited until the last roll to buy toilet paper, and there were none available.
So I get a certain degree of wanting to be prepared.
We decided to simply go with the flow, be discerning, and gradually prepare by sporadically buying a pack of toilet paper whenever it’s in stock (and for larger families, it’s understandable to buy more without going overboard).
And IF we haven’t found any toilet paper by the end of two weeks, I will trust that certain backup will do, such as tissue and napkins.
And if all that gets used…well, we’re willing to take that risk; and we’d prefer just buying a pack of toilet paper here and there, than become fearful, FREAK OUT, and add to the problem of those hoarding toilet paper, and other basic necessities.
Update (this lime font paragraph only) inserted on 4/1/20: By not worrying about toilet paper—but simply trusting that it’ll show up in our physical reality when needed—we were able to buy a pack at our local supermarket this morning. ^_^
When we choose to be aware, we realize that it’s unnecessary to be an extremely fearful, out of control hoarder (and/or scammer), who is inconsiderate of the basic needs of others.
Because as we expand our perspective—further open our mind and heart to SEE, with clarity, the bigger picture—we can realize that we are ultimately, and energetically, interconnected souls.
So when we choose actions that deprive others, it will circle back to us and deprive ourselves.
However COMMA when we simply do our best to balance the sharing of Unconditional Love (with self/others), everything will work out for everyone’s highest benefit.
For instance, we can buy needed items in increments—as Teal shared in one of her recent videos—which will meet our own needs, and give others the opportunity to meet their basic needs as well.
If we were stuck in a basement with a stranger, due to one of earth’s natural disasters, and we only had one loaf of bread, wouldn’t we want to share it with our soul brother or sister, especially if they were a child?
I feel that if it’s time to go, it’s time to go; and rather than screaming, kicking, and fighting with death at the end, I’d much rather gracefully transition to another energy state, while simply trusting in the unknown.
I noticed that the more I practice not being controlled and overwhelmed by fear—though it’s wise to be cautious and discerning with a certain degree of fear—the more liberated and empowered I FEEL (i.e., a lighter FEELING state/a higher vibrational frequency state).
Despite experiencing certain drops in my vibrational frequency, I intend to do my best to Be Prosperity Consciousness on a daily basis (especially during these challenging times)–trusting that we’ll have everything we need at every moment—rather than be poverty consciousness (poor person mentality), and focus on what’s lacking in our lives.
Since EVERYTHING is made of energy and vibrates, I intend to do my best to fully trust that the dominant vibrational frequency that I often radiate out will attract to me like energies, to include much: inner-peace, great health, profound wisdom, trust/faith, freedom, joy, and uplifting abundance.
But IF I happen to experience any form of lack in the near future (to include toilet paper), then I will embrace the probability that I have deprived interconnected others in whatever ways—in this and other earthly and otherworldly lifetimes.
I will then fully accept responsibility for my fear-based actions or non-actions with unconditional forgiveness, and then have the fuller awareness to no longer do so.
Earlier today, I came upon the following MEGA LOAD of doo doo, which made me think, “Ssseriously? During the Coronavirus pandemic, where many people throughout the world are already fearful and vulnerable?”.
For 12 Super Mega Rolls of Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper, Home Depot charges a reasonable, average price, while Chinese companies charge close to double or more, though they also charge for shipping.
To view an enlarged image of the screenshots below—taken on 3/30/2020 as shown on the bottom—click on the image, and then click on the back arrow to return to this page.
CoraChic, a Chinese company, charges very close to double the price than Home Depot does.
To make matters worse, they make it appear as though they’re giving a generous discount from the original price of $89.60.
CoraChic received many recent, 1 star reviews via Trustpilot, with claims of them being a SCAM (which are all valid reasons).
I, too, have noticed over the years—hence, shared negative reviews via popular sites like Trustpilot and Sitejabber—a pattern of online, Chinese companies selling the same, or similar clothing, shoes, and many other products with misrepresenting images that DO NOT look like the actual products.
The products are often very poor quality when it comes to material and stitching, as well as misleading when it comes to size and color.
I, and many others, have even experienced these companies not sending us what we’ve ordered for months, though they’re quick to take our money, and they promise delivery dates averaging two weeks.
In addition, their customer service is very poor, often delaying communication via email to avoid having to provide explanations and give refunds; and forget trying to call them.
I also noticed that some of their products (usually shoes) have a strong odor that smells like gasoline or some other potent chemical(s).
And I’m not talking about the smell of plastic that’s been in a bag for a while (like fake vines), since they’re usually considered non-toxic, and they can be aired out for a couple of days before use.
I’ve also read many other negative reviews from women who have had these unpleasant experiences as well.
I wondered:
- Why do these products have these intense odors?
- Are these odors toxic? And if so, are they intentionally potent?
- In a probable, worst case scenario, could this be some form or degree of chemical warfare that gradually destroy’s one’s health (which would be clever, yet, cruel)? If so, this could correlate to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) being some form of biological warfare (mainly because the Chinese government was initially deceptive of the existence of the COVID-19)?
- I’m no expert on such matters, but hypothetically, let’s say that a country wants more power—perhaps to become a “superpower” country—that will more than likely be misused and abused (rather than Divine Power, merged with Divine Love and Divine Wisdom, which is used in beneficial ways for the self/others). This country could first, gradually weaken the immune system of other countries with the transport of seemingly harmless chemicals onto unsuspected, daily household items, clothing, shoes, and MANY other products., which the influential leaders of the world (mostly men) wouldn’t pay attention to, since many of these products are either for the females of the world, or are mainly purchased by females. This country could then follow such series of deceptive, patient, consistent actions with the introduction of a potentially deadly virus, which would likely increase the effectiveness and impact of their fear-based intention—a discreet way of slowly killing off, and negatively affecting the well-being of the overpopulated, unwanted humans of this world, which in turn, would negatively affect the morale of this world. IF this is true, then this country—or any other country with this intention—will experience something UNBELIEVABLE and SHOCKING that will ripple throughout the future of humanity.
Anyway, I also noticed that once many people share negative reviews about these online Chinese companies, they simply change their online company names (there are links to two articles towards the bottom of this post, with a list of these company names, and other extensive details from personal experiences, research, and investigation).
From CoraChic shipping page: “(Since a lot of good and inexpensive goods are produced in China, most of the items on our website are produced in and sent from China to the whole world, and a small part is from Hong Kong.)”
Granted, to be fair, I have received some decent to nice products from China that I ordered from online, but most were from Amazon.
I still trust that there are certain Chinese companies out there who have good intentions; it’s just that there’s been a pattern of one too many who obviously DON’T have good intentions.
Unfortunately, these folks are NOT helping their country’s reputation, whether it’s mainland China or Hong Kong.
And they’re also exacerbating racism towards the Chinese, and Asians in general, during these times.
The following paragraph—the exact same as CoraChic’s website—and screenshot is from the website RayPom, who also charges the exact double price as the other Chinese companies:
“(Since a lot of good and inexpensive goods are produced in China, most of the items on our website are produced in and sent from China to the whole world, and a small part is from Hong Kong.)”
The screenshot below is from the website Mofylook, who:
- also charges the exact double price as the other Chinese companies
- received many recent, 1 star reviews via Trustpilot, with claims of them being a SCAM
- AND has the exact same shipping explanation as the above mentioned company, RayPom :
“(Since a lot of good and inexpensive goods are produced in China, most of the items on our website are produced in and sent from China to the whole world, and a small part is from Hong Kong.)”
The following screenshot is from Home Depot, who charged a reasonable price for 18 rolls of this particular toilet paper:
The following two screenshots and paragraph are from the website, BeetBest, who charged more than double for the exact same toilet paper as the one sold by Home Depot:
Online Company: BeetBest
FAQ page: WHERE IS MY ORDER SHIPPED?
“Since a lot of good and inexpensive goods are produced in Hong Kong, most of the items on our website are produced in and sent from Hong Kong to the whole world, and a small part is from America and Malaysia.”
The following are additional screenshots of overcharged toilet paper:

The following is from the reading, “Price Gouging Laws by State” (created by FindLaw’s team of legal writers and editors):
When disaster strikes, whether it’s a Category 5 hurricane, a pandemic, or an uncontrollable wildfire, consumers are often left scrambling for basic necessities such as drinking water and medical supplies. When retailers take advantage of these spikes in demand (often coupled with supply bottlenecks) by charging exorbitant prices for necessities, it’s referred to as “price gouging.”
In most states, price gouging during a time of emergency is considered a violation of unfair or deceptive trade practices law. Most of these laws provide for civil penalties, as enforced by the state attorney general, while some state laws also enforce criminal penalties for price gouging violations.
The definition of “excessive” or “unconscionable” pricing is generally determined by looking at average prices in the affected area over a given look-back period prior to the emergency, typically six months or so. If prices are 10 or 15 percent higher (some states have different thresholds), then it may be determined that price gouging has occurred.
The following is from “Price Gouging Complaints Surge Amid Coronavirus Pandemic” by the NY Times:
About 40 states have laws against price gouging, some of which were activated by emergency declarations issued by their governors in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Some of those laws define price gouging as an increase above a certain amount — such as 20 percent — since the emergency declaration was issued. Others ban price increases that are not deemed “reasonable.”
The following is from the reading “‘Stop Price Gouging,’ 33 Attorneys General Tell Amazon, Walmart, Others” [to include Ebay (like the Ebay seller mentioned above, who overcharged almost double for toilet paper)]:
Price gouging laws vary across the U.S., but they generally go after retailers and wholesalers for unfair markups, particularly during emergencies. Many states give some flexibility for prices to go up in response to shortages and hoarding behavior, typically by around 10% to 30% over prices in earlier months.
The following two paragraphs are from a very detailed article titled, “Say No To The Dress” (that I will fully read at a later time if I feel like it):
But you’re unlikely to end up with anything close to what the pictures promise. They’re merely an entry point for thousands of women who have lost money to an opaque group of Chinese clothing companies in recent years, operating under a trove of names like Zaful, SammyDress, DressLily, RoseGal, RoseWe, TideBuy, Choies, and RomWe.
While the sites and their products may seem like small fry, the money involved is anything but. Analysis by BuzzFeed News shows that at least eight of them are connected to one Chinese e-commerce company that made more than $200 million in sales in 2014. That same year it was acquired by one of China’s best-known clothing companies, a publicly-listed giant run by one of the country’s richest men.
The following is from the reading, “Top 10 Scams on Alibaba.com!“:
Remember, these don’t apply solely to Alibaba but to all popular B2B platforms that involve a large number of wholesale suppliers from China. But as Alibaba is the most popular platform, I will use examples from there.
So back to this post’s title question, “Will Online Chinese Companies Get Away with Price Gouging and Scamming During COVID-19 Pandemic?”
NO. If the COVID-19 Pandemic won’t WAKE them (and like others) up—to who they truly are at the soul level—then I have no doubt there will be other ways.
Because the majority of this world and beyond—humanity, Mother Nature/Mother Earth, other earthly and otherworldly Beings, Galactic and Universal soul families, etc.—does not need to suffer consequences, due to the excessively greedy, habitually fear-based actions of the extremely ignorant.
And Mother Nature/Mother Earth/our Solar System/our Galaxy/our Universe/The Multiverse/God/Light Frequency/I (God) AM (Goddess) Presence/Source/Spirit/Prime Creator/Creator of All Creation: Crop Circle 6666/Monad/Divine Mother Goddess/Alpha & Omega/Unconditional Love Frequency/The Nameless IS unlimited in its POWERFUL and UNSTOPPABLE creativity and expansion.

I’m adding the profound quote below, as an additional, final conclusion to this post; and I shared the details that led to this helpful reminder in the next post, “FAREWELL Energizer Bunnies on Crack: HELLO New Energies of Simply BEING Multidimensional“:
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” – Socrates
