As you can tell from the title of this post, I had a very bizarre dream this morning, which I experience at times.
Note: Image on right => The Cosmic Web of the Tarantula Nebula 11.11.2008
I was debating on whether or not to share it, but while listening to the Mindvalley course, “Uncompromised Life” by Marissa Peer this evening—where I sensed another red flag during the second hypnosis audio (related to “working hard/long hours”/part of poverty consciousness)—my right side of my sacral chakra area started to slightly hurt, as if I was being poked every other second.
I was then reminded from within to be creative, and as soon as I started this post, the poking sensation instantly went away.
Granted, I still intend on further exploring this course since Marissa provides a lot of helpful information as well (to include => update: the Lovability Hypnotic Track [Audio]).
I just need to be extra cognizant and discerning that I don’t take in whatever information doesn’t feel light/right/true to my heart; hence, why I’ve often shared within this blog the importance of following one’s inner guidance/intuition first and foremost.
Anyhoo, I have a strong feeling that this morning’s dream is related to another one I had in the second week or so of this past November while visiting South Korea.
In a nutshell, I saw my younger pet cat—male, tabby named Leo (who was also in this morning’s dream)—through a glass door sitting on the ground just looking at me.
In the background, was a black panther rolling around on the bright green, grass, seemingly playing and enjoying itself.
At one point, I thought of giving them some water, since it was sunny outside, but then I noticed a dancing hose on the lawn, with water flowing out of it.
At another point, I saw an otherworldly creature that appeared to be half bird and half animal running around, and smaller than the panther; it somewhat looked like a black phoenix bird, but not sure.
Anyhoo, I didn’t feel like recording this dream at the time, but trusted that I would recall such an unusual one.
I also sensed that Leo was symbolic of the male, ego energy that had merged with the ancient Goddess (symbolized by the black panther spirit guide), transforming the ego male energy to its higher/exalted version of God essence, and the two halves of the one reunited with the Holy Spirit/Divine Mother Goddess (symbolized by the black/unknown, otherworldly Being).
I could be wrong about the above interpretation, but until I know for sure that it’s something else, I’ll just stick with this one, since ultimately, our dream meanings are more of our personal interpretations.
In addition, I don’t feel like further analyzing anymore dreams right now, so all that I’ve gathered below (from earlier today) is what I have so far, and that’s suffice for me.
In a nutshell, the outer dream interpretation, for this morning’s dream (below), that feels the most light/right/true to my heart is by https://taniamarieartist.wordpress.com/tag/tarantula-symbolism/ (and best matches my personal interpretation; see her remaining, profound interpretation toward the bottom of this post ):
Spiders are the feminine energy, but in that embodiment they teach us to balance with and honor the male energy, integrating the productive aspects of each. Her beautiful web is a message telling you to create, take note of opportunities, use wise discernment, and know when to make a move that takes into account everything gained from the perspectives available.
There are many negative interpretations of the dream meaning of the tarantula—more than likely due to the Collective Ego having been more fearful in the past—but I resonate with most of the symbolism of the tarantula spirit guide (along with the general spider spirit guide/animal totem), like the one above.
From Dream Journal
I was in what appeared to be a dimly-lit, small apartment on the first floor where there was a glass door patio.
At one point, I think I saw Shadow and Leo [our cats], though Shadow [our older, female, black cat] seemed to fade out.
Leo—or at least a cat that looked like him—was swatting at this door, and my husband and I heard a crunch sound because he had smashed a black bug.
He kept jumping and swatting, and when I checked out what was going on, I saw a huge, dark colored tarantula, that looked slightly bigger than Leo, slowly crawling up the glass door.
In panic mode, I was going around the house looking for a spray that would kill it.
Side Note: Though in real life/this particular, physical Earth reality, I usually set bugs and insects free from inside the house to the outside, I think my protective instinct kicked in since it’s understandable why any human would be afraid of a spider that huge, when many humans are even afraid of small spiders, especially tarantulas.
I think I saw the spray 409, so will look up that angel number interpretation, as well as the tarantula spirit guide meanings.
At another point, some tall, Caucasian, short brown-haired guy was holding the tarantula like a baby, and its face was towards the opposite direction of his.
He said something to the effect that not even the police would come because of the name of this tarantula [don’t recall name], and I asked him why he was even holding it; granted, it appeared gentle like a baby.
At another point, this guy and the tarantula was at a screen door to the left of the glass door, and I told him that I could hear him much better, so I didn’t know why we didn’t do it sooner.
At another point, this guy suddenly took off, and the tarantula was trying to make its way under the screen door.
When I blocked it from coming into the apartment, it made a frustrated cry that sounded like a child.
And when it looked up at me, it appeared to have the sad face of a black lab puppy with soulful eyes.
I recall that dreaming of a room is symbolic of your soul, and for the key words below, the main symbolism is:
cat is intuition
spider is creativity
puppy is free-spiritedness, innocence, loyalty, playfulness, and unconditional love
and anything that appears much larger or more exaggerated that it normally is, is our subconscious mind trying to get our attention
Personal Brainstorm Interpretations
So perhaps my intuition (symbolized by the cats) is attempting to catch the strong, powerful force of creative energy within me (symbolized by the huge spider)—supported by the mature, male energy within (symbolized by the tall guy—that’s also attempting to be present within my soul (symbolized by the small apartment).
The younger, immature, ego male energies—symbolized by Leo, my younger male cat, non-protective husband, and fearful aspect of self—was trying to kill (sabotage), due to fear of the unknown, the Divine Feminine creative energy (symbolized by the huge tarantula spider) merged with the the supportive, free-spirited, pure, loyal Divine Masculine energy (tall male being and black lab puppy).
The veil between these seemingly separate aspects becomes thinner—from thick, glass door to thin, screen door where sound is better heard, and there’s even a hole at the bottom where the creative energy force can attempt to make its way into the soul.
From the bottom of this doc that supports the above personal interpretation, by https://taniamarieartist.wordpress.com/tag/tarantula-symbolism/ :

Tarantula’s Wisdom Includes:
Ability to shed the outer skin (masks) and transform
Creativity
Spinning a web to entrap enemies
Defense of territory
Intimidation by size
Use of environment to conceal oneself
https://taniamarieartist.wordpress.com/tag/tarantula-symbolism/ :
Quite a bit of transformative energy entering my life, as well as a lot of shadow integration for greater perspective and wholeness, and timely and intricate, creative weaving. So it wasn’t too surprising that after all of this spider and web energy showing up that I’d finally come upon Tarantula as a climax.
“In the beginning, there was the dark purple light at
the dawn of being. Spider Woman spun a line to form
the east, west, north, and south. Breath entered man
at the time of the yellow light. At the time of the
red light, man proudly faced his creator.
Spider Woman used the clay of the earth, red, yellow,
white, and black, to create people. To each she attached
a thread of her web which came from the doorway at
the top of her head. This thread was the gift of
creative wisdom. Three times she sent a great flood to
destroy those who had forgotten the gift of her thread.
Those who remembered floated to the new world and climbed
to safety through the Sipapu Pole the womb of Mother Earth.”
~Navajo Creation Story~
Generally speaking, Spiders are the weavers of experience that desire to share that creativity with others. They are the assertiveness of Creative Force in communication of all forms, seeking to discover and create the reflection of your heart’s hidden desires, and to fulfill your dreams through the wisdom of what you weave.
They herald a period of transmutation in order to create anew and to rebirth into a more aligned experience of yourself in the now. Divine inspiration, industrious focus, and tearing away illusions may be needed at this time, as you seek to begin new projects and experiences in one or all aspects of your life.
Spiders teach balance, the spiral of reality, strength, gentleness, heightened sensibilities, the interweaving of all things, and support development of your craft and skills.
Their energy will assist in discovering the inner workings of personal dynamics at an increased level in your life and with completely new perspectives infused with infinite possibilities. Since their bodies are shaped similar to an infinity symbol (the number eight) and they have eight legs, this speaks to that boundless energy and the eternal state of being.
Spiders help you to tune into the ancient wisdoms and integrate them into your life, realizing that everything you now do is weaving what will come to be. You are remembering your role as a keeper and writer of your own destiny, and just as the center of the web is always small (representing you), the web is eternally expanding (representing your unlimited, creative potentials). You are limited only by your own view of self.
Life is always an evolution and Spider reminds you not to get stuck and complacent, but to continue to weave anew and to see the value in anything that comes into your field of experience (your web), as even if it doesn’t appear to have meaning and purpose right now, it may prove useful later.
Spider also teaches the written alphabet, runes, and symbols so they help with weaving your words, creating deep meaning, and writing with creativity and power that brings others into greater connectivity with your message.
Although Spiders represent the wheel of life and opportunities, it is up to you to be decisive about things and not to let fear, illusions, and limitations hold you back.
Spiders bring a message of change to belief systems and dropping away anything false that was conditioned as a child [hence, currently learning from Marissa Peer’s course, “Uncompromised Life”]. Interesting that the last time I saw a Tarantula was as a child. Definitely a sign of old foundations continuing to be removed and to pay attention to any last pieces that still have yet to be transformed.
Different types of Spiders will carry unique energy within the general symbolism just shared.
Perfect timing is a gift of Tarantula, while staying focused on the center of things. If a Tarantula crosses your path it speaks to a need for patience right now, as everything you’ve been working toward, creating, and asking for, has been percolating and is coming to fruition from behind the scenes. It’s time to just take a step back so that the new can take hold and create a solid foundation.
If you move too quickly, you could undermine the hard work you’ve been doing, so it’s a time for pure trust and faith that everything will come to you when you need it, and only when it is necessary and timely for the next move. Then you must act upon it and be decisive when the timing aligns.
Tarantula also messages you that positive changes are happening and for you to continue to integrate spiritual and physical, as you continue to move forward, remaining curious and trusting your intuition every step of the way. In so doing, new doors to new things will open and deeper self-discovery will take place.
There is a calm gentleness and strength to Tarantula that models what would be of best practice to your journey right now, which includes calming and centering yourself enough to hear her/your messages. Her presence shares a heightened time to be ultra aware and to make your moves with confidence, as you attune your senses to feeling every subtle vibration around you.
Ask yourself if you are creating to your fullest potential and then realize that Tarantula indicates you are facilitating your own path, so ultra awareness of everything you are doing and not doing becomes key.
Tarantula also messages your ability to shed your outer skin, to stay grounded, look at things from multiple angles, create a healthy boundary of self protection and preservation, and knowing how to blend and shift with the changing environment.
People with Tarantula medicine are creative, think outside the box, walk their talk, understand the right moment and purposeful actions, and prefer to do things on their own.
I’m always grateful for the messages gifted.
