Joel, I haven’t watched your messages for years (reason explained within this comment), but this YouTube video title, along with the funny intro, grabbed my attention.
And I’m grateful that I watched your entire message, since it was soul-igniting, heartfelt, encouraging, uplifting, empowering, and inspiring (like many times before).
Plus, as I’ve shared in comments in the distant past, it’s your brightly shining SUNSHINE/LIGHT Presence (energetic essence/core vibrational frequency) that simply FEELS light/true to my Heart, and is therefore MAGNETIC.
As you’ve shared Joel, I’ve experienced many so-called MIRACLES that I’ve been expressing my gratitude to God.
Before I joined the Army in 2001, I chose to answer a difficult question from the application.
One of the questions asked if I had attempted suicide before, and I chose to honestly answer yes (in my early twenties).
“Unfortunately”—at least to my furious Army recruiter, who yelled that I ruined any chance of being approved for an above, Top Secret clearance job as a Cryptologic Korean Linguist/Analyst (and asked why I couldn’t lie like everyone else)—I ended up going through an extended, medical screening process that included essays, board interviews, and a medical team review (i.e., it seemed, like you said, IMPOSSIBLE from the logical point of view).
However COMMA when one of the psychologists said to me with a hopeless facial expression and tone of voice, “I’m not quite getting a warm and fuzzy about this (about the truths I shared with him thus far),” I calmly, confidently and assertively replied, “Look doc, I’m not here to give you warm fuzzies. If God wants me to join the Army, He’ll make it happen.”
And to make a long story short, my Recruiter excitedly shared the good news that a miracle happened—and I shared with him what I said to the doc—that I was approved to proceed with Basic Combat Training.
I was concerned that I wouldn’t pass—due to various reasons (mostly physical)—but to my great surprise, I graduated in the top 10%, which I also thanked God for.
By the way, I forgot how wonderful you can be Joel, since I haven’t watched your motivating and/or Heart–led inspiring messages for several years, though my husband and I used to watch them often, and we even attended your Night of Hope event in San Antonio, TX, when we used to live there.
Neither one of us were religious then—though we were both baptized before (him during his childhood and me during my twenties).
We had left this world’s mostly limiting, fear-based religions because we had witnessed much more hypocrisy and corruption than people actually Being Living Wisdom that Jesus taught about.
And I’ve explored and experienced various denominations of the Christian religion (to include the Catholic church) for a decade (late teens to late 20’s).
Only one couple that I knew back in high school were true Christians to me, who led by example Jesus’ profoundly wise, unconditional love-based teachings.
Plus, I don’t recall Mr. Langholz—my biology teacher, and then Anatomy & Physiology teacher back then—and his lovely wife, ever preaching to his students, despite them both being Christian missionaries; they simply were unconditionally kind, to include being deeply compassionate (so many students from all over the world loved them).
Anyhoo, within a decade ago, I came upon your videos—which I fully trusted that I had tuned into in Divine perfect timing and order for my highest benefit.
You were different from the typical pastor because 1) what I shared above (WHO you are within your Heart & Soul), and 2) your method of teaching and/or preaching was more open-minded and open-hearted than the norm; hence, I was drawn to your vibes/vibrational frequency.
However COMMA I reached a point on my mystic path/journey where I needed to tune into deeply profound wisdom (WAY outside the box, which I’ll explain).
By the way, the mystic that I’m referring to is the DIRECT connection with the Divine from within (that we all have access to with an open mind/heart), without a 3rd party like a priest, pastor, guru, metaphysical teacher, psychic, medium, etc., though outer world Soul teachers can definitely be helpful as well (like you today).
The Mystic, Alan Watts gracefully teachings about the mystic ways, which is deeply heartfelt and profoundly wise, but requires a very open-minded (but not gullible) and very open-hearted (with healthy boundaries) Old Soul to RECOGNIZE and DEEPLY APPRECIATE the Divine gifts that he shares.
There are even deeper wisdom that Jesus taught—found not only within the condensed, limited bible, but within the Lost Gospels of Jesus and Dead Sea Scrolls as well— and the typical leaders of the church has not been able to interpret to this day, because they have not truly honored God’s other Half/The Goddess (Sacred Heart/The Holy Grail).
Deep down, I intuitively knew that there were certain aspects of the Divine that absolutely had to be brought forth to the Light.
Otherwise, the ongoing and seemingly never-ending fear-based, BLAME GAMES within humanity would only add fuel to the fire of both inner and outer world conflicts, battles, and wars.
I will share a few examples.
The word “enemy” continues to cause many problems because it stems from SEPARATION consciousness (“us” vs “them”) that further divides people.
And this way of believing and thinking can cause certain individuals or groups of people to believe and think that they are better than others (becoming righteous, arrogant, and even dangerous).
And it doesn’t necessarily stop there. MILLIONS (if not BILLIONS) of people throughout human history have IMMENSELY suffered and died due to these old, outdated, fear-based beliefs that have been passed down for many generations—to include but not limited to massacres of other cultures, countries, religions, and even burning women alive due to labeling them as witches and black cats (though witch in its original and ancient, sacred meaning IS “The Wise One,” since Heart-centered, witches were known to deeply heal their communities using the resources from Mother Nature/Earth).
Granted, within all groups of interconnected Life (to include witches), there is a wide spectrum of varying aspects ranging from angelic through evil, and everything in-between (like the colors red through violet within WHITE/Light Frequency of a rainbow, or like the vibrational frequencies of fear energy through compassion energy within the Love Frequency).
By continuing to play the BLAME GAME, we will continue to JUDGE self/others, rather than take full responsibility for our WHOLE self (physical self)/Self (Divine Self within: God & Goddess).
Speaking of the latter, God has often been perceived as The Father throughout man’s religions, without acknowledging and honoring the Divine Feminine energy of the Goddess essence—the other Half of the SAME Cosmic Coin—since ultimately, God is genderless, unlike physical beings (whether humans or E.T.s).
However, there are always two forms of energies at play within the Universe and beyond (which even the most valid and precise science has been supporting).
So regardless of the “names” it’s about the energetic ESSENCE of merged version of THE ONE: Higher Heart & Higher Mind/Spirit & Soul/Unconditional Love & Light/Goddess & God/Yin & Yang/Moon & Sun/Dark (Unknown) & Light (Known)/Water & Fire/Cold & Hot/Divine Feminine & Divine Masculine Energies/etc..
But because humanity has been taught a HALF-@$$ story for too long, too many have lost touch with their own hearts/Unconditional Love (for self/others/Life)/intuition/inner-wisdom/insights/grace/flow/compassion (for self/others)/creativity/being able to receive (and not just GIVE GIVE GIVE to others)/and other feminine energies that need to be balanced with Divine Masculine/God energies in order to Be Harmony from within FIRST AND FOREMOST.
Because we cannot truly, fully, and UNconditionally give to so-called others from an empty cup/heart.
Only when we learn and consistently practice to unconditionally love ourselves, can this Divine Love effortlessly overflow to interconnected Life within this world and beyond.
And animals such as black cats, crows, ravens, and even snakes have had a bad rap for way too long due to mankind’s fears.
But I have no doubt that they are sacred, just like the rest of precious, interconnected Life within this world and beyond.
But unnecessary fears, judgements, and even hatred can lead to very cruel acts.
I can’t speak for all cats (but for many), and our older female, black cat—whom I named Shadow (to remind me NOT to be afraid of the so-called “dark”/unknown)—has been so wonderful (a great pet, to include being deeply loving and compassionate, plus authentic/WHOLE); and our younger, male tabby cat, Leo, has been loving too.
And while living in Flagstaff, AZ—though we now live in Sedona, almost an hour south—I saw many raven and crows on a daily basis and deeply appreciated the messages they shared as animal spirit guides/animal totems/power animals (ultimately from Spirit/Universe/Multiverse/Omniverse). ^_^
And though Christian religions continue to portray the snake as evil, due to the old serpent story—that actually has a profound, love-based meaning associated with the Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge in a highly beneficial way (NOT fear-based way)—I’ve come to fully trust the snake symbolism to represent LIFE FORCE/SOURCE of Interconnected Life (the Cosmic Glue)/Primal Raw & Powerful Energy/Major Transformation on ALL energetic levels/etc.
I’ve had many earthly and otherworldly dreams since the late 90’s, but mostly since 2011 (after I left the Army life).
And these dreams included Jesus, God, Goddess, angels, E.T.s, and so many earthly and otherworldly animals.
I continue to appreciate your precious existence, and the priceless gifts that you share with humanity and beyond.
