Note: The idea for this post initially started with the first four sentences below (in purple font, under sub-title, “Intro: A Soul-Touching Experience”), that are from the recently published post, “Letting Go of the Old: Better is Definitely On Its Way“; however, another magical moment happened—ENTER a soul-touching moment from a beautiful soul—and the insights that I received from within imploded, reuniting many lost puzzle pieces of Life. This post can be read by itself, but you may gain a bigger picture reading it as a continuation post. Dec. 6-9 2015
First and foremost, I dedicate this post to beautiful soul Korin Bukowski, a former contestant from the show The Voice. Thank you for your inspirational, loving energies from your heart.
You may never end up reading this message (if it doesn’t resonate with your soul yet), but that’s perfectly okay, since ultimately, we are all interconnected as The One/All That Is in this magnificent web of Life, and I trust that you will—without a shadow of a doubt—receive these loving energies from my heart to yours at a soul and physical, cellular level.
Intro: A Soul-Touching Experience
Looking back, I’m very grateful that I was able to just continuing doing one of the things that I love (i.e, sing), though I wasn’t confident in it.
Because ultimately, it doesn’t matter if one didn’t learn how to sing through formal lessons, didn’t have a chance to shine in the public spotlight, or even become a professional or famous singer.
What truly matters is how much joy one experiences through singing, as well as bring joy to others.
And this, of course, applies to many other things in life; regardless of earthly labels, what matters is what makes us happy within.
This past week, while watching the show The Voice with my husband, I experienced a deeply heart expanding moment where a flood of mixed emotions arose to the surface, overflowing my eyes with tears.
I looked over at my husband, and he was teary-eyed as well, which moved me even more.
We’ve been moved by mind-blowing and deeply emotional performances from many of the very talented contestants throughout the seasons of the show—to include amazing Jordan of this season, who also seems to be a very gentle, loving, and wise soul—however, neither one of us ever cried.
While Korin Bukowski was singing her last song, “Try”—a soul-touching song with empowering lyrics—where she could potentially be saved through Twitter, she not only “forgot” the lyrics once, but twice.
At that particular moment, I felt a small wave of emotions stirring inside of me; but what’s funny about life is that something seemingly small, such as a harmless wave, can soon explode into massive tsunami waves.
And that’s exactly what happened with every single Korin moment after the small wave—which rapidly grew inside the deep ocean within me.
Though Korin seemed to have felt let down by her seemingly “imperfect” performance, she calmly carried on with a gentle, melodic, and a deeply felt emotional repetition of the chorus, “You don’t have to try so hard, you don’t have to bend until you break […] you don’t have to try, try, try….”
At that very moment, I intuitively knew that was the Divine perfect song choice for that moment, as well as the amazing moment itself. Indeed, she—or anyone else for that matter—didn’t have to try so hard anymore to compete.
And who are they/we competing for anyway? Whose acceptance and approval are they/we seeking to win over?
Their/our family and friends? Of course not, because authentic family members and friends unconditionally accept/love us just the way we are at every moment.
So do they/we need America’s acceptance and approval? Of course not. America, or any other country in this world doesn’t define who we truly are.
They can place earthly labels all they want, but 1) they don’t have nearly enough inner and outer information about us to determine who we truly are, and 2) we don’t have to give our inner power away by allowing their mere opinions to manipulate and control how we perceive ourselves.
In addition, the voters of a TV show don’t fully represent “America” as the country itself. Now, in the case of the show, The Voice, the voters probably represent many Americans who often vote for contestants in the country genre—who, despite their talents, often don’t have the multi-faceted range of singing skills that many other contestants of The Voice have (or had)—but still end up winning (at times) anyway.
For instance, Jordan (from this season) gave an undeniable, highly stimulating, incredible performance with an amazing, multi-faceted range that seemed to bring in the powerful musical spirits of Freddie, Whitney, Mariah, Christina, Adele, etc. (the various aspects of the God-Self/Spirit within us all) into the present Moment of Now with the song, “Somebody to Love” by Queen.
However—and this is a neutral observation of simple singing abilities—if any of the three contestants (representing the country genre) end up being voted for over Jordan…well then, it will be FO’ SHO, crystal clear obvious (more than ever before) that it doesn’t matter what “other people” think of us of, or whether or not they value our talents and skills, because at the end of the day…the beautiful truth is always revealed from within. It simply is what it is. And Jordan’s just one awesome example.
Now I’m not saying that country singers aren’t talented at all, because many are, or even were. It’s just that, if a show, like The Voice, is based off of observing a contestant’s singing skills and talent (in its various forms within a wide vocal range), well…let it be fair—recognized for what’s been observed as true, rather than going off the genre preference (i.e., country) of the so-called majority of voters.
Speaking of fair, my husband and I have noticed throughout the seasons of The Voice, that many contestants (representing genres other than country) are expected, highly encouraged, and sometimes even pushed into giving it their all by singing songs of various genres, expressing deep emotion and exploring different vocal ranges—to include incorporating falsetto, runs, dolphin-like pitch, raspy tone, powerhouse singing, etc., which I have no doubt is MUCHO/TAKUSAN/MANI/VERY challenging.
But yet, contestants (representing the country genre) often (not always) get away with staying in their comfort zone, usually singing slow-paced, country songs as though they’re simply karaoking with minimum expression of deep emotion.
And once in a while, Blake will put forth his best efforts, and have them sing a fast-paced country song, or even turn a pop song into a country one—but once again, remaining in the safe bubble of country music.
So why is there a double standard? I have no doubt that I’m not the only one who notices this deviation from the so-called standard.
Now if a TV show only observes how a contestant tells a story through singing in a pleasant way, then that’s a whole other ballgame, and it would make sense if the contestants of the country genre often received many votes, and even won as a finalist.
Perhaps the solution could be to create an extension of the The Voice show called, The Country Voice, where contestants (of the country genre) can compete with other contestants (of the country genre) who are more of their match when it comes to vocal abilities.
It’s not that contestants of the country genre aren’t great singers; it’s just that—and this is to give a very simple analogy, not to say that people are nothing more than fruits (this had to be clarified since words can easily be twisted into something else)—apples and oranges (of the one “fruit” category, like the interconnected souls of The One) should only participate in a fruit contest if, and only if, the so-called judges (i.e. voters) of that fruit contest are willing to give the fruits a fair assessment after truly tasting (savoring) them both, rather than having a strong preference for oranges—without ever tasting more than one kind of apple—and then making a quick, biased decision, and calling it the day.
And if the judges like or even love both apples and oranges, then I suppose there wouldn’t even be a need for a contest—apples and oranges (and even all other fruits) can fully be enjoyed and appreciated for their own unique qualities without labeling one better or more valuable than another.
Although I’ve never had the urge to buy a country album, I’m open to any type of songs that highly resonates with me (since I love many genres of music), and I enjoy certain country artists and songs that—as Blake Shelton mentioned several times before—tells a story from the heart.
Some of the artists that I enjoy include: captivating and exciting Garth Brooks, raw and emotionally powerful Patsy Cline, charismatic and big-hearted Blake Shelton, and even gentle, loving, and very wise soul Dolly Parton, with her new, soul-touching song that she performed beautifully on The Voice, “Coat of Many Colors.”
I was so grateful that Dolly showed us, in her own sweet way, that she was aware of the ancient secret of Being the Vibration of Abundance—intuitively knowing and always trusting that one is abundant, prosperous and wealthy on all levels of our being—mentally, emotionally, physically, materially, and spiritually—at every moment, regardless of how it may temporarily appear on the outer surface.
When we remember to continue this way of positive thinking, feeling, and believing (VERY POWERFUL TOOLS)—with passionate persistence, I trust that we will soon tune into the parallel reality—our version of Heaven on Earth—that matches the vibrational frequency that we truly are, and that we’ve emitted from our core (outer world mirroring inner world).
So do they (i.e., The Voice contestants)/we need acceptance and approval from the rest of the world? Of course not. Like the examples above, none of this matter.
Because first and foremost, one doesn’t need to compete with self or others, or even need acceptance and approval from anyone else, since self is already complete, Divinely perfect at every given moment—so-called flaws, quirks, shadow aspects and all—regardless of how it may appear on the outer surface through society’s eyes.
I’ve learned (as a human)/remembered (as a soul) that Divine Wisdom is intuitively knowing and fully trusting (with unshakable and unbreakable faith) that EVERY existence in Life/All That Is throughout the omniverse is Divine perfect creation at every moment—regardless of how things may appear on the outer surface with the earthly, duality labels of “good” vs “bad”—most highly benefiting the greater whole as interconnected parts of The One.
I developed a deeper understanding of this truth when I received an insight from within about babies. As a parent—the creator of the child, like the Divine Creator within us all—watches their baby crawling, they don’t see the baby as imperfect because the baby doesn’t know how to stand up or walk yet.
They don’t say (hopefully) things like, “Enough crawlin’ around and bullshittin’ you lazy little shit! It’s time to pick up the pace and move on to the run phase! There’s a ginormous to-do list for you to accomplish in this lifetime if you’re ever going to become a successful person.”
Every moment of development—mental, emotional, physical and spiritual—is a stepping stone of success. However, us humans, have been conditioned by general society, for a very long time, to be very judgmental towards self and others.
Therefore, even though we may not perceive a baby’s growth process as imperfect, we more than often perceive any developmental stage beyond that phase as so, especially when it comes to adults.
However, when we expand our perspective using our Divine gift of imagination, we can see a bigger picture.
For example, to a 722 year old, highly evolved E.T. being within this Galaxy, an adult human—with a typical lifespan of under 120 years—may be perceived as infant-like soul in a physical body exploring, discovering its likes and dislikes, falling down, bouncing back up, learning, growing, expanding, becoming wiser, and loving deeper and deeper, until the soul remembers that it’s essence is Unconditional Love…the most powerful force throughout the omniverse.
So the seemingly small, big to huge mistakes that we make, and tend to be hard on ourselves, are perceived as nothing more than a toddler very briefly standing up, and then temporarily falling down on its bottom.
Now, the toddler may very briefly frown with its cute, pouty lips, or even cry a little because he/she is frustrated, but when we pay close attention, we’ll realize that every single time (without fail), the child will get back up again, often times with a big, adorable smile and fiery determination in her sparkling eyes because 1) she intuitively knows to do so, 2) it’s fun, and 3) because it’s fun to learn, she’ll do it over and over and over again until she’s able to stand and even walk effortlessly.
I enjoy the uplifting lyrics and melody of the song, “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba (<=click on song link to view 3:33 min You Tube video in another window) because it reminds me that no matter what happens in life, like the chorus of the this song shouts:
“I get knocked down, but I get up again
You’re never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down, but I get up again
You’re never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down, but I get up again
You’re never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down, but I get up again
You’re never gonna keep me down […]”
Rather than labeling the “you” in this song as some outer enemy, I chose to see it as the fearful thoughts within me that may be too stubborn for positive change that can magically lead to clearly seeing—through the ancient eyes of Christ within—the Heaven on Earth that already exists right in front of me.
I then imagine giving my fearful ego self—the aspect of soul who has forgotten its true self—-a big, loving bear hug, comforting my wounded inner-child that everything’s perfectly fine now, and always will be…the way I would do for a fearful child.
In my early forties, a loving soul reminded me what an amazing hug feels like—the ultimate bear hug—and ever since then, I’ve been sharing these bear hugs to self and others whenever I had the golden opportunity.
What I find truly fascinating is that when we fill a fearful space—such as our minds—with uplifting (e.g., through a song) and loving (e.g. through a bear hug) energies, slowly but surely, I notice that the fears within me start diminishing—or, more accurately…they begin to transmute (raising the lower energy), heal and integrate with heart’s unconditionally loving energies.
In addition, I’ve learned/remembered that willing to take full responsibility for everything that shows up in one’s life—whole-heartedly trusting that Divinity within (the highest version of self) knows exactly what it’s doing for our highest benefit—allows us to let go of disempowering victim mentality, and sets us free to fully use our Divine Power from within.
Again, every step of growth—mental, emotional, physical and spiritual—is a stepping stone of success…Divine perfection.
The truth is, many adults are like young children trapped within a bigger body, with our fearful ego selves leading the way of our lives.
However, like a baby or toddler, if we could just remember to follow our own heart’s intuitive knowing, trust our built-in inner guidance system, and choose the path that brings us much joy (even to the smallest degree), then—like the very persistent toddler—we will always be at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, and just simply Being who we truly are at every moment.
Highly intelligent and unconditionally loving Spirit within all of Life/All That Is makes no mistakes.
In God’s eyes from within, Korin, and every other soul and other life forms throughout this omniverse is Divine perfect creation/existence with a Divine purpose.
In addition, we only need to validate self/Self/SELF (i.e., SELF being highest GOD/GODDESS-Self from within) at every moment. We don’t need to impress anyone else, because when looking at the biggest picture…they are us, and we are them.
Would it makes sense for the kidney and lungs to participate in a competition? Or even the liver against the small intestines? Or how about the red blood cells vs. the white blood cells? Or the brain against the heart? Are any of them more valuable than the other?
Of course not, because they are all interconnected parts of the whole which is the one magnificent body, and they best function by working together, supporting one another, and highly benefiting one another, each and every cell—even to the smallest of molecules and atoms, and the tiniest sub-atomic particles—having a Divine purpose in life.
We just need to remember to do our best and just Be at every moment from our heart space, and everything else falls perfectly into place.
At the end of Korin’s performance—while she was standing before the coaches—her mixed facial expression of sad eyes and a semi-smile of relief is what deeply moved me.
I was then able to release the built-up emotions (of matching vibrations with Korin’s) that finally wanted to be noticed—after having been repressed and suppressed for so long—recognized, acknowledged, embraced, transmuted, healed, and returned to Source within to be free.
From one perspective—let’s call it a “negative” point of view—Korin could be perceived as having forgot her lyrics (not once, but twice), gave up, and thus failed at becoming a potential “winner” of a show called The Voice.
However, when we expand our perspective—let’s call it a “positive” point of view, thus seeing the much bigger picture—we can perceive her “forgetting” her lyrics as Divine perfect timing and order (meant to happen for the highest benefit of All That Is), her “giving up” as letting go of that which no longer benefits the individual and collective soul (e.g., the need to aggressively compete), and her so-called “failure” as spiritual success in her accelerated, individual and collective soul growth and evolution.
I was proud of the coaches for sharing some heartfelt words after Korin’s performance, starting with Blake’s sincere and heartfelt encouragement, Pharrel’s usual spiritual words of wisdom, and last but not least, Gwen’s very passionate comment about Korin being authentic for feeling so deeply. I don’t recall Adam having a chance to add his comment, but I have no doubt that he would’ve shared something heartfelt as well.
Korin not only has a unique and enchanting voice—with a great range of gentle and magical to powerhouse—she is a beautiful soul.
I looked Korin’s name up to see how she was doing—something I never felt the urge to do with other former contestants—and came upon this reading, “‘The Voice’ eliminee Korin Bukowski: I didn’t feel ready to leave, but the show sometimes hurt my soul’” which I was very grateful for because she shined her true self even more in that interview.
I trust that Korin is exactly where she needs to be, maybe not in society’s eyes, but in the eyes of the infinite creator from within.
Fearful ego self (aka personality self)/just outer beauty/and other shallow earthly labels are highly overrated in this world, and deep character/inner beauty/amazing soul are extremely underrated—basically an ass-backwards society that I have no doubt that countless observing beings throughout this Universe alone are baffled by.
Though I chose to watch shows like The Voice because my husband and I both enjoy watching and listening to very talented people perform—as well as the humor and love the four coaches share within one another and others—I wondered if this show, like many others, was no longer serving my accelerated, individual and collective soul growth and evolution.
Like Korin had mentioned in her interview (link above), though she had an overall great experience, she also felt as though she had hurt her soul (e.g., she doesn’t like to compete with her friends, whom the other contestants became).
I was able to deeply empathize with her. If I was ever placed in a position where either my loved one (to include a close friend) could end up disappointed, devastated, and crying…or me, I have no doubt in my heart that I would choose me to experience the pain and suffering instead.
Perhaps it’s easier for those who don’t get emotionally attached to people at deeper levels, but I intuitively know how Korin feels, because, I consider myself an ultra-sensitive soul, and I sense that she is one too.
It’s so refreshing to experience such a deep, authentic, and very loving soul like Korin on TV these days, which seems to be a rare opportunity.
Korin, continue to Be a precious gift to self/Self/SELF (i.e., Divinity within/highest version of self/God, Goddess and Christ-Self within), humanity, Mother Earth, other merging worlds, and beyond.
Here’s a poster (on right) that I’d like to share with you, that I incorporated into my own vision board at home in order to remind me often.
I wish for you to receive all the loving energies that you give to others a thousandfold.

Some Thoughts About the Many Masks of Competition
Competition itself is an old, outdated, collective, fear-based belief that is slowly but surely fading out of this reality, since it no longer highly serves our accelerated, individual and collective soul growth and evolution.
Competition at the lowest levels are often brushed off as nothing more than innocent, harmless, fun and/or character-building games and events…
whether they’re cute little girls who wear tiaras and a butt-load of make-up, and who compete for “I’m the prettiest and/or most talented one”—whose mothers seem to desperately live their own dreams of being in the spotlight through their kids…
kids who pick teammates for outside games where there’s always a kid who’s the last one left, that seems to indirectly convey, “You’re last because no one wants you…LOSER!”…
kids’ football games that seem to show “I’m tougher and faster than you” or “Our team/group is better than yours”…
and even spelling bee contests and SAT and ACT test scores that seem to show “I’m the smartest here.”
But what happens when all the glam and glory are gone for young kids who were used to “winning” often or every time and/or being in the spotlight?
Unfortunately, many of them—who have continuously relied upon society to rate their own worthiness (rather than realizing that self-worth is a Divine birthright)—end up becoming depressed, lowering their self-esteem and self-confidence, doing troubling “bad boy/girl” things—since there’s another old and outdated belief that “any publicity is better than no publicity.”
And in worst case scenarios, kids even turn to alcohol, drugs, and other addictions, as well as suicide.
In addition, the “us against them” or “I’m better than you” mentality within competitive activities often creates sadness, frustration, blame (of self and others), anger, resentment, envy, jealousy, hatred, and/or even rage for the majority involved.
This thing called competition creates many so-called “losers” who are often led to believe (to some degree) that they’re not good enough, smart enough, tough enough, fast enough, attractive enough, talented enough, etc., and overall…not worthy enough.
A while back, while watching a couple of videos of consolidated images, created by some graduating seniors of my daughter’s high school graduation class, I noticed that seemingly 80% of the photos were of football players and cheerleaders.
There are so many students who participate in other activities, and even other types of sports, other than football and cheerleading.
In addition, out of so many graduating seniors at that school, I couldn’t believe why there weren’t more photos of other students who I have no doubt, like my daughter, contributed so much to the greater whole, and not just to that high school.
There are students who, throughout the years of attending that school, have often volunteered to help many others via various functions—to include playing with children at the orphanage, delivering food to the homeless, chipping in with the building of homes in certain poor communities (doing whatever they can to help without formal training), tutoring other students for free, coordinating events during their weekends, and so much more.
But, yet, such great (not just good) deeds go unnoticed at such a major event such as a graduation ceremony. Now, I understand that graduating football players and cheerleaders can easily miss such things if their main focus is to be in the spotlight mostly for themselves, but I wondered why there wasn’t at least one teacher or coach who was like, “Hmmm, what’s off about these videos with mostly football players and cheerleaders in them?”
Or, perhaps, there was an adult present, or even more than one, but he, she or they had little to no awareness of what’s clearly obvious, just didn’t care, or were even like the football players and cheerleaders themselves—placing more value on only those types of students and events.
And where does this type of influence stem from? Could it be the overly excessive attention and value placed on adult football players, especially the NFL, who are probably paid much more for one contract than the combined salaries of doctors, nurses, teachers, firemen, the police force, and military members—just to give some examples—in one local area?
But, yet, society in general seems to be blind to, or could care less about these (once again) ass-backwards way of living and being, though many of these caring souls even risk their lives on a daily basis through possibly getting shot at, severely burned, or even killed.
So why is it that the ones who have paths (to include volunteering and soul passions), jobs and/or careers helping numerous others are rewarded with much much much less than football players, models, movie stars, and other celebrities?
The answer: Because we, as general society, allow and/or approve of it…
actively—those who often experience joy in life through celebrities and their lifestyles, rather than their own…
aggressively—those who are often obsessed with loving and supporting celebrities (who could care less about them and their loved ones)…
and even passively—those who just like to hop on the band wagon, be a sheep within the flock (a follower), not voicing what we truly think and feel and are passionate about, look the other way, etc.
This competitive mindset may start tiny during the childhood years; however, it then grows and grows as we develop into adulthood, where we end up finding ourselves competing for many things in life.
Some of these include rankings within the school system, test scores, GPA, resumes, jobs, careers, bonuses, attention, and unconditional love (e.g., through boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, etc.)—unconditional love being naturally abundant throughout this Universe and beyond, and is our soul essence from within.
And when this level of competition grows even bigger, due to humans’ typical dissatisfaction of never having enough or being enough—though Abundance is also our Divine birthright, our soul essence—it has the potential to become a deadly destroyer, eventually annihilating everything within its path like a merciless MEGA tornado, hurricane, tsunami, earthquake and other powerful natural disasters.
Humans, especially those who society trusts as our top leadership, often compete for more power, more money, more fame, more land and resources—occupying more and more countries and using the excuse of needing to go to war— etc.
Often times, these so-called leaders of our world do this at the expense of…
others’ freedom—manipulating and controlling the general population whenever possible…
others’ precious time—military members and their loved ones’ often irreplaceable time away from one another…
others’ money—the corrupt, major banking systems involved in criminal activities who take advantage of general society…
others’ Divine birth rights—withholding from others what’s rightfully theirs as well…
and even others’ state of being and precious lives—numerous veterans who have either been severely wounded (mentally, emotionally, physically and/or even spiritually), or have lost their lives while serving like a slave under the government’s own agendas; but yet, many Vietnam veterans to this day still haven’t been taken care of like they were promised and the way they deserve.
Some “leaders” even encourage that people should proudly send their adult kids’ to join the military, serve their country, and fight for our freedom—which is another Divine birthright by the way, and not something that we have to earn from people—but yet, they wouldn’t dare send their own precious, grown-ass, silver spoon-fed, highly educated kids.
Hmmm, why is that? Are their kids’ more valuable than general society’s kids? Of course not. But there are “leaders” who would like us all to continue believing so…because it serves them and their loved ones well.
I call BULLshit times infinity—oh yeah, I so went there 😉 —when it comes to this ass-backwards world, and I realize that this change begins from within, where I first recognize and acknowledge all the bullshit that I’ve somehow subconsciously agreed to from the collective, fear-based beliefs—throughout this and probably many other lifetimes—while lost in my mind as fearful ego self/forgetting who I truly am from within.
So I say to Divinity within, “No more earthly illusions and bullshit dramas. I’ve learned/remembered many invaluable life lessons, and gained much wisdom. It is now my intention to whole-heartedly believe that self, humanity, Mother Earth/Gaia, other merging worlds, and beyond deserve the very best in life…our Divine birthright, our own version of Heaven on Earth and much more; and for those who absolutely have no will to match this very high level of vibrational frequency—who we truly are—then “they” can continue to live and be within the dark valleys since they, too, have free will. However, I refuse to allow any aspect of lower energies within me to drag me down as well. I will LOVE the lower energies to death if I must, since I trust that death is merely a transformation of energy state—fearful ego self transmuting, healing, and integrating with the Divine Feminine Goddess-Self within, and transforming into Divine Masculine God-Self within—bringing to life the already existing and merged Beloved I (God) AM (Goddess) Presence/Christ within/Twin Flame within in the realm of the present Moment of Now.“
