I shared the following message for the video, “Issues with the Korean Drama Industry“:
A $$ MULTI-TRILLION DOLLAR QUESTION: WHY DO KOREAN DRAMAS OFTEN ADD VERY UNHEALTHY FOODS TO THEIR SHOWS?
I checked this video out in case it mentioned the very probable corruption going on with many Korean dramas often (practically every episode) incorporating extremely unhealthy foods that’s been proven by science to cause A LOT of health issues, aches and pain, and human diseases.
These foods that are HEAVILY PUSHED, include, but are not limited to: ramen, fried chicken, baked goods, desserts, and other street foods loaded with EXCESSIVE (key word) SUGAR, CARBS & OILS (and not the healthy versions like olive or coconut oils).
The profoundly wise question to ask ourselves is, “So if there’s an increase of unhealthy people within this world—influenced by Korean dramas that are super popular internationally (just one example)—could this highly benefit the overall pharmaceutical industries (and NOT just in Korea), who are a MULTI-TRILLION dollar industry worldwide? Things that make you go, Hmmm.”
Back in the day, it was in the news that a Korean man died from malnutrition due to eating ramen for a month or so.
There’s a reason why Korean mukbangs have been so popular AND ADDICTIVE, and the ones that influence OVEREATING JUNK FOODS, don’t realize how much of a NEGATIVE influence their videos are having on humanity.
Often times, humans don’t take health too seriously until they have to get their leg or foot amputated (from diabetes), they or their loved ones have a heart attack or stroke, they gain a lot of weight, their faces break out (from too much sugar), etc.
People often believe that taking pills will solve their health issues, but these pills merely cover up the symptoms (NOT the root cause of them).
As a Japorean-American—half Japanese & half Korean who mostly grew up in Korea and was a U.S. military brat (due to Korean mother marrying American father)—I’ve been a big fan of Korean dramas and street food as well, so I GET the fiery passion for these Life Pleasures.
But my own addiction, to especially ramen and spicy rice cakes/tteokbokki, has caused major health issues for over three decades of my adult life, to include sciatica pain for years (from back all the way down to hamstrings), excess weight gain, digestive issues, unhealthy skin (dry skin, breakouts, age spots, etc.), emotional eating, depression, etc..
However, no longer going OVERBOARD with carbs, sugar, and fried foods has caused these issues to go away (though they return if I eat more of these for an extended period, rather than a treat day per week or so in moderation).
Granted, I’ve noticed that the more healthy foods I incorporate, the more I lose interest in eating non-beneficial foods like ramen.
I read today, for the first time, that K-pop diet incorporates overall healthy foods that has a high probability of being long-lasting.
I, and many people, have learned that strict diets are NOT long-lasting; however, the more we can incorporate healthier eating, as well as treat days, seems to be the effective way to enjoying the pleasures of Life, while also remaining wise, rather than allowing others to manipulate and control our lives.
I’m grateful that I’ve learned to Be more Balance and Harmony, to include eating overall healthy about 80% of the time, but also treating self to unhealthy things I still enjoy (in moderation, about 20% of the time), like certain street foods (tteokbokki, jjajangmyun, jjamppong, etc.) and certain Korean dramas (but not going APESHIT CRAzy watching ANY TV shows or movies, which can easily become addictive).
In addition, as I become more AWARE (i.e., awakening the Soul within)—further expanding my individual and Collective Consciousness/Soul Growth/Spiritual Evolution—I’m noticing increasing patterns of questionable RED FLAGS within humanity.
These “clever” people are hoping to continue deceiving humanity, since they more than likely believe there are tons of unintelligent humans in this world, who, like SHEEP, just believe EVERYTHING they’re told, hop on the band wagon, and follow false leaders (rather than following their own inner guidance/Heart/intuition/inner-wisdom/and other love-based energies).
Also, It’s no ancient Japorean secret that the Korean government had their citizens eat more street food after the war, though it wouldn’t be a surprise that they, themselves, ate very well during these poverty times (like the well-fed, fat border-lining obese “leader” of a country whose citizens are mostly scrawny from food deprivation).
Everyone and their mamas and grandmamas know how corrupt the Korean government has been throughout the ages, so it wouldn’t be a shock if they, too, were benefiting from the profits made from unhealthy people.
It’s no accident that there are MANY pharmacies in Korea alone, at least several within JUST ONE BLOCK.
If more people became healthy, the MULTI-TRILLION dollar industry worldwide—along with all other associated organizations, governments, corporations, companies, etc.—will definitely lose profits (i.e., THEY WILL ALL LOSE MONEY). THINK ABOUT THAT.
Even the Netflix TV show, “The Good Witch” HEAVILY, OBVIOUSLY, AND RIDICULOUSLY pushed baked goods.
That mediocre show (that had some good parts), felt like I wanted many hours of my life back, but I fully watched it to observe the RED FLAGS, and learn from it.
Why? Could it be to influence all who are watching to become addicted to baked goods, hence, needing to buy various medications to fix their multiple healthy issues?
Just something to ponder about.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS, THE CORRUPT WITHIN THIS WORLD WILL MEET THEIR DOWNFALL IN DIVINE PERFECT TIMING AND ORDER. LIKE A RAGING FOREST FIRE OR IMMENSELY POWERFUL, MEGA TSUNAMI, THEY WILL SPIRAL DOWN SO SUDDENLY, THAT THEY’LL BE CONFUSED AS TO WHAT KICKED THEM IN THE ASS.
However COMMA they will know WHY, but it will be too late to regret. When we put out corrupt intention, words, and actions, THESE ENERGIES WILL CIRCLE BACK (not as punishment from some higher power, but to highly benefit the interconnected WHOLE).
If I FEEL like it, I will create a YouTube video about this—since I wasn’t able to find a video, blog post, website articles, etc. online—but perhaps you guys can create one as well, if the idea FEELS light/true to your Hearts.
If not, that’s completely understandable since you guys live in Seoul, and you may not resonate with what I shared.
Either way, I wasn’t aware about Korean actors working abusive hours, so thank you for sharing this new information.
Hopefully, countries of our world that include much corruption in various areas of Life will WAKE UP (11:11 Soul activation code) and learn from the downfalls of humanity history, rather than repeat them.
Even ancient Atlantis—though mentally and technologically evolved—met its downfall because they did not place importance on emotional and spiritual evolution (that ancient Lemuria/Mu was known for).
To become Full-Potential, Multidimensional, WHOLE self (physical self)/Self (Higher Self: Soul & Spirit within), we must be healthy on all energetic levels—mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual—and RECLAIM OUR INNER POWER.
The individual and Collective goal is to reunite the ancient energies of the so-called opposites—two sides of the same Cosmic Coin (like Yin & Yang/Heart & Mind/Spirit & Soul/Goddess & God/Moon & Sun/Water & Fire/Divine Feminine & Divine Masculine Energies/etc.)—within both INNER & OUTER WORLDS.

Update
6/18/2022
After reading a comment for this post this morning, I remembered to add this section that I forgot to share within the comment (but since the non-Asian YouTuber couple lives in Korea, they’re probably aware of this):
Even Korean children are conditioned from a very young age (elementary school) to become addicted to street food, especially tteok-bboki, since (for decades) there have been at least one (but usually several) small, school supply stores (right outside the schools) that also sells tteok-bboki.ย
Therefore, I have never mt a Korean who doesn’t enjoy this delicious, yet, unfortunately unhealthy and addictive street food.
