In the early 2000’s—after being done with exploring various, limiting, world religions, to include certain denominations within Christianity—I started noticing my attraction towards non-religious spiritual teachers within the broad category of Spirituality.
I was especially drawn to the teachings of mystics (like Neale Donald Walsch and his books) in 2001; and in 2011 (after leaving the Army life), I was drawn to shamans (like Ina Wollcott of website Shamanic Journey) due to often dreaming of earthly and otherworldly animals.
I was also strongly attracted to E.T. channelings from the Pleiadians (via Barbara Marciniak books), Arcturians (via We, The Arcturians book), Bashar (channeled via Daryl Anka within YouTube videos), Anunnaki (via a few Zecharia Sitchin books), other starseed related teachings, and Source channelings from Abraham-Hicks.
I also highly resonate with most of the profound teachings from philosophers like Alan Watts, and spiritual revolutionaries like Teal Swan, as well as Life Coaches like Victor Oddo (who has the gift of being a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds).
However, throughout the years, I’ve also noticed that I don’t resonate with everything shared by any spiritual teacher I respect and admire; hence, I developed a habit of following my inner guidance first and foremost—only extracting information (Light) that highly resonates with me, and disregarding whatever doesn’t.
I’m strongly drawn to spiritual teachers who are very much about expanding the individual and collective mind and heart with teachings based on Light (opposite of ignorance) and/or unlimited, Unconditional Love.
I also noticed that the more of its contrast showed up in my reality—spiritual teachers who share limiting, narrow-minded, judgmental, closed-hearted, manipulative, controlling, and/or other fear-based teachings (to varying degrees)—the more I was able to confidently know which information I highly resonate with, by comparison (via mind) and how light it FEELS (via heart).
This morning, I enjoyed an Alan Watts video, “You Are Everything Around You – Alan Watts,” which reminded me of my recent, daily practice of gracefully embracing and integrating more and more aspects of my inner and outer worlds, until it becomes consistently effortless like a positive, highly beneficial habit.
And sure enough, after almost a month of simply Being authentic, whole self (to the best of my ability)—unconditionally embracing all of self/interconnected Life (both negative and positive)—and doing my best at my new Sedona J.O.B. (Joy of Being) and at home, I’ve been noticing subtle to obvious, positive changes in my life which is exciting (to include an increase of various uplifting abundance)! ^_^
Anyway, after watching the Alan Watts video, I then noticed the title of another video that caught my attention, and I was curious what new perspective(s) this video might offer.
Despite not fully resonating with the second video (below), I’m very grateful for the gift of contrast, from the Universe within, which helps us to deeply appreciate its so-called opposite.
The following is a comment I shared for the YouTube video, “Real Vs. Fake Spirituality! (How to Tell the Difference)” (though it doesn’t show up for whatever reason):
It’s much easier to mostly live, or spend a lot of time, in a safe bubble of an environment—like a peaceful cave or some other secluded, mostly positive place—in order to become more “spiritual”; however COMMA the true challenge of Being in alignment with Spiritual Self is to BE and LIVE the merged Light and Unconditional Love vibrational frequency within ANY environment and with ANY being (human or non-human, earthly or otherworldly, spiritual or non-spiritual).
This includes being able to transmute so-called lower energies as needed (as a Master of Frequencies), the way ancient Ascended Masters did with their very high, compassionate, powerful, and transformational vibrational frequencies. .
For instance, Ascended Master Jesus was willing to participate in the so-called negative environments of our world, at times, to generously share his Light and Unconditional Love.
Why? Because he was confident in his I AM Presence—I (God) AM (Goddess) Presence—within him (aka Source/Higher Self/Soul/Spirit/etc.); hence, symbolic expressions like verse 4 of Psalm 23: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death [3D lower vibrational, physical world], I will fear no evil, for you [Source] are with me“ (I highly resonate with the “psalm 23” version shared by the Arcturians, since it’s more love-based/unity consciousness rather than separation consciousness)
As a reminder, one can read and study all the knowledge and wisdom about a subject (like love), from this world’s plethora of books, but until one EXPERIENCES Unconditional/True Love (for self/others), one will never KNOW what it truly FEELS like (experiential knowledge/profound wisdom).
As usual, no matter what I watch, listen to, or read, I like to follow my inner guidance first and foremost (aka Source/The Master within/Higher Self/Soul/Spirit/etc.), and only take in what highly resonates with my heart, and disregard whatever information doesn’t.
You brought up some great points within this video, so thank you for that; but during one part, you contradicted yourself.
You basically acknowledged that everything in Life is interconnected (i.e., the religious figurines, the table, wall, etc.), which is unity consciousness; but yet, in at least two different parts of this video, you spoke as if the material world and spiritual world are separate, which is separation consciousness.
Any time we make something “us vs them” we fall into the illusion of separation consciousness. Ultimately, the material world and the spiritual world are One, just as everything else in this Universe and beyond is ONE/All That Is.
The key is not to become LOST within the material world; however, the material world—which, again, is part of All That Is—also exists for interconnected Life to explore, experience and ENJOY to the fullest.
Spirituality is not about getting from point A to point B—or merely admiring the IDEA of Being very spiritual to self and others—-but to savor the entire journey to the best of our ability while sharing our core essence with All That Is.
Our human, logical mind needs to divide everything in order to better understand Life (e.g., real vs fake), and that’s understandable.
But every soul is on their own, unique path that is perfect for their soul evolution, and none of them are good or bad, right or wrong, dark or light, etc.
And assuming that others—who don’t follow man-made rules, laws, beliefs, belief systems, religions, etc.—are automatically NOT on the “right” path is a judgment itself. Something to ponder.
It’s all about the Cosmic Dance of Balance, though not necessarily 50/50. For instance, it’s wise to treasure invaluable solitude time, to connect with one’s inner world/inner Being, while also making time to authentically interact with the outer world.
