First Dream Message
Last night, the same day I published the post, “An Extended Analogy of the Intellectual vs The Wounded Healer,” I had a vivid dream that I intuitively sensed was related to this post.
The dream was about a new, female friend (who is due to have her baby soon, and I trust is symbolic of the Mother archetype of the Divine Feminine aspects within me) who entered a room while I was sitting on a bed that was neatly made (symbolic of my intimate self and security).
My friend looked disappointed, and it was because she had placed the gift (symbolic of unconditional love) in my room earlier in the day, but I had not noticed it, although it was right in front of me.
I apologized and thanked her for such a large gift (probably around 3/4 of my actual 4’9″ height), which was a Japanese figurine wearing a purple dress.
Guidance Tools
The following is from the reading, “The Archetypes of Sacred Feminine Initiation” of the website Temple of the Sacred Feminine:
“In the Temple of the Sacred Feminine, we work with universal energies called archetypes that embody patterns of experience that are common to all women of all cultures and times. Each archetype carries a particular kind of feminine energy and can have countless expressions, capabilities, and gifts […] The Mother energy calls forth a woman’s power to birth, sustain, and renew life–whether it is a child, a project, a garden, or an idea. It is the Mother energy that also gives death when necessary, and initiates us into sacrifice (i.e. to make sacred), surrender, transformation, and transmutation […]”
The following are meanings of key words from my dream from a dream dictionary that I often use as guidance (noting only what resonates with me by following my intuition):
Your dream house is symbolic of the Self, while the rooms inside the house relate to various aspects of the Self and to the many facets of your personality.
To dream that you are in the bedroom, signifies aspects of your self that you keep private and hidden.
To see your bed in your dream represents your intimate self and discovery of your sexuality […] The dream may also be a pun on the completion of a project and “putting it to bed.” Consider the condition of the bed. If the bed is made, then it symbolizes security.
To dream that you receive a gift indicates that you are being rewarded and recognized for your generosity and giving nature.
To see figurines in your dream indicate that you are underestimating your own abilities and in yourself. You need to stop comparing yourself to others. Consider what the figurine depicts and how you are belittling that quality in yourself.
To see or wear a dress in your dream represents a feminine outlook or feminine perspective on a situation. You are freely expressing your femininity.
Purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, justice, wealth and dignity.
My Interpretation of Dream 1
My mother archetype (an aspect of the Divine Feminine within me) has communicated to me to see with clarity what I already have within me/my private soul (symbolized by the bedroom, and me not seeing what’s right in front of me).
I’ve also been reminded to recognize and appreciate my own abilities that I had a tendency to underestimate (symbolized by the figurine) due to my unhealed solar plexus chakra where my complete self-confidence lies.
The part of the dream where I was also reminded to stop comparing myself to others (also symbolized by the figurine) is what reminded me of the post, “An Extended Analogy of the Intellectual vs The Wounded Healer.”
I no longer need to keep private and hidden to the outside world (symbolized by bedroom) my intimate self (symbolized by me sitting on bed), such as my strengths when I’m freely expressing both my femininity—“devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion”—-and my masculinity/soul birthright and self-worth—-“my royalty, high rank, justice, wealth and dignity” (symbolized by the color purple).
I am also asked to fully embrace the physical/biological aspect of me—the Japanese side (like I do with the Korean side of me), and to release any guilt and shame that’s associated with Japan’s unloving/unconscious collective ego’s mistakes that it had made in the past.
If my intention is to unconditionally accept and love my whole self, then I must also embrace the extreme “negative” and “positive” traits, characteristics and qualities within me—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

Second Dream Message
In another one of the vivid dreams that I had, right before waking up this morning, I was joyfully dancing around my living room…naked, like a free-spirit.
My clothed husband, who had a Marine flat-top haircut (a hair-style he’s never had before) was also dancing independently within the living room to the song”Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars. It was the first positive dream I had of my husband.
While having fun, I heard the door bell ring, and I saw a Latino/Native American-looking women with a slight slant in her eyes—with a mid to late twenties appearance in age—through our glass window of our door. I welcomed her in, and she said that her son was coming soon.
Guidance Tools
The following are meanings of key words from my dream from a dream dictionary that I often use as guidance (following my intuition as well):
Alternatively, the living room is indicative of your freedom and space.
To dream that you are dancing with a partner signifies intimacy and a union of the feminine and masculine aspects of yourself.
To hear harmonious and soothing music in your dream signifies prosperity and pleasure. You are expressing your emotions in a positive way. Music serves to heal the soul.
To dream that you are naked denotes fear of being found out and exposed over your activities. You feel that you are being misjudged.
To dream that you hear or ring a door bell indicates that you are open to new experiences. The dream may also be calling attention to something that you have overlooked. Perhaps you do not yet realize that an opportunity is open to you.
To have a visitor in your dream signifies that some important news or information will soon be revealed to you. It may also suggest that love is just around the corner. Alternatively, a visitor indicates that you are experiencing a new phase in your life. If the visitor is unwelcome, then it indicates your refusal to change.
Alternatively, your dream haircut symbolizes a fresh start. You are shedding off some unwanted aspect of yourself.
My Interpretation of Dream 2
As I choose to Be my True Self, within my space of complete freedom (symbolized by my actual living room of my home), I am in alignment with my Divinity within me—Trinity: the integrated feminine and masculine aspects of my soul (symbolized by dancing with my husband), as well as Divine Spirit/All That Is.
In this state of Being (where I am my whole True Self) I am fully healed, and able to express my emotions in a positive way; hence, experiencing much prosperity and pleasure (symbolized by the harmonious music that I resonate with).
In this state of Being (where I am my whole True Self), I am no longer feeling as though I am “locked out of heaven” (the song that I heard in my dream) the way my wounded ego self had felt toward Spirit the last time I was listening to this song.
My masculine energy within me/my ego self/my wounded inner-child has shed off some aspects of myself that no longer serve our individual and collective soul growth/evolution, and is ready for a fresh start (symbolized by the Marine flat-top haircut—the “Marine” adjective symbolizing the now highly disciplined and motivated side of the once aggressive male energy within).

In this state of Being (where I am my whole True Self), my masculine energy within me/my ego self/my wounded inner-child has been transmuted and transformed into the Divine Masculine Energy/Consciousness within me.
Although I had an unknown fear of being found out of who I truly am (symbolized by being naked), I have released that fear since I was not ashamed of joyfully dancing naked, or even answering the door naked.
I am welcoming change in my life, as well as important information/Light that will be soon revealed to me (symbolized by the visitor).
The visitor’s son arriving soon may be symbolic of the birth of the physical reflection (Lightbody) of my fully healed masculine energy aspect of my soul that has merged with my feminine energy, sent by the mother aspect of Divine Spirit/All That Is (symbolized by the female visitor).
Note: I believe that Divine Spirit/All That Is contains both the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energies; and the mother archetype is just one aspect of the Divine Feminine energy. See Temple of the Sacred Feminine for further details.
