I’ve read a few readings in the recent past about the Heyoka Empath, but the video, “Are You A Heyoka? The Most Powerful Type Of Empath“ really hit home.
It shared new information, that wasn’t available in the previous readings, that helped me to further reflect upon, and more deeply understand past, related experiences (stories shared within this blog) that brought together more puzzle pieces.

I trust that I was recently drawn to this topic because I’m meant to unconditionally accept/embrace/love this aspect of self/Self (Soul/Spirit within), though there were remnants of my ego self that was initially uncomfortable with the idea of making this public acknowledgment due to the fear of being judged as very arrogant, and also being wrong (ultimately stemming from my fearful ego’s judgment toward self/Self).
Besides all that I intuitively sense to be true, I was also born breach—as shared within this blog—and throughout the decades, I’ve been told by family members (immediate and extended), former classmates (since the late 80’s), old friends, and former coworkers (to include the Army), pretty much the same thing, “You look the same” or “You haven’t changed.”
Over a decade and a half ago, during a visit to Korea in my thirties, one of my Korean aunts said to my mother—in front of makeup-free me, and other relatives—“How is this even possible? Her face looks the same as when she was a kid.”
I used to believe that they were all just being polite, but as years and years went by, I noticed that even neighbors, acquaintances, and strangers would be surprised to find out my age, though a handful of people would obviously look surprised (mostly their eyes), but not say anything due to their own reasons.
One day, a while back, I was convinced that something indeed was very strange in an exciting way. Sometimes, right after I come out of the shower, my face looks like my childhood, tween version; other times, I appear as old as my age, or even older.
It’s fascinating to me, and I trust that how we look at whatever moments can depend on our fluctuating, vibrational frequency.
Today, I fully accept/embrace/love this aspect of self/Self.
I felt so grateful for this video (mentioned above), that I left the following comment for the creator(s) of it:
Thank you so much for sharing this very helpful video that’s informative, encouraging, uplifting, soul-igniting, deeply heartfelt, empowering, inspiring, and consciousness expanding.
Continue to Be an invaluable gift to self/Self (Soul/Spirit within) and interconnected Life (All That Is) throughout this Universe and beyond.

I then noticed a recent comment (right below) that I was strongly drawn to because I have no doubt that it triggered within me something that I needed to unconditionally accept/embrace/love within myself as well:
Everyone wants to be someone speacial better and different we all all fuckin hyokas or whatever u wanna call it ..we r all the same ..we are all made the same we all have the same potential ..dum dums
My response to the above comment (which I have no doubt was also a message to self from Spirit within):
LjLac, first and foremost, thank you for mirroring to us a gift that can help us to further expand our consciousness.
The beauty of Divine Dichotomy is that we can unconditionally accept/embrace/love BOTH aspects within ourselves that simultaneously desire to be different AND desire to be the same; they are only so-called contradictions when seen from the 3D limited, physical mind perspective.
From the integrated and balanced, multidimensional Mind/Heart perspective, they can both exist within the same space.
When there is an aspect (among many) within ourselves that we’re unable to unconditionally accept/embrace (e.g., ignorance), then we’re not able to accept this same accept in interconnected others.
Frustration, resentment, anger, defensiveness and/or the need to put others down (i.e., “dum dums”) ultimately stems from fear. So the questions we may want to ask ourselves are:
– “Why do I have a judgment towards interconnected others who desire to Be and feel special?”
– “Why do I have a judgment towards self who desires to Be and feel special?”
– “Who convinced me (through words, behavior, and/or actions)—especially during childhood—that wanting to be special was NOT okay or not even possible?”
You’re right, in that ultimately we are all interconnected parts of the whole, and we all have the same, great potential within us.
Therefore, any one of us can choose to Be a Heyoka, or not, prior to birth on planet Earth (or another world), and just because one chooses this experience doesn’t mean that they’re better, or more righteous or superior than others.
I trust that Heyoka is the most powerful version of an empath because this way of Being embraces the full rainbow spectrum—like a Rainbow Warrior/Worker of Oneness, rather than the one-sided Lightworker vs Darkworker—of thoughts, emotions, words, and actions from a neutral standpoint (like Source/Holy Spirit/Prime Creator/Creator or All Creation: Crop Circle 6666/Divine Mother Goddess); and uses any of these tools at any given moment (without the duality judgment of good vs bad or right vs wrong) for the highest benefit of Life (All That Is) throughout this Universe and beyond.
For instance, a Heyoka empath can use the tool of gentle kindness OR the tool of tigress-like aggressiveness depending on which most highly benefits another. The underlying intention always stems from Cosmic, Unconditional Love.
Some people don’t seem to understand the language of gentle kindness or even respectful assertiveness (due to being wounded wounders); so when a Heyoka empath responds to them (mirrors to them) the aggressive communication style—the same manner in which they were communicating—they will be taken by surprise because they’re not used to others dishing back their own fear-based energies with the same force (or greater).
Most people don’t like confrontation, so they’ll just take in the energies of an aggressive one (aka wounded one), and later process them, or not, in an indirect way (e.g., complaining about them behind their back, stewing the anger within, transferring the energies to another via the same method, etc.)
What’s intriguing is that once a Heyoka empath gets the attention of the aggressive person using the same, initial, aggressive energies, that person takes a step(s) back, and is willing to communicate with at least respect.
They understand the language of aggression, so it feels familiar and real to them, unlike the energies of gentle kindness or respectful assertiveness that feels foreign and fake to them.
Positive transformation can then take place with this form of unconventional interaction.
From an expanded perspective (the bigger picture), we are all playing “different” roles on Earth (and other worlds) while simultaneously playing on the “same” team of The One, helping one another evolve as the self/selves/Selves/Self on all levels—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Added some helpful videos 2/7-9/2018:
- “Empath Test: Are You an Empath and How Empathic Are You ?” (I was able to relate to 54 out of 60)
- “Empaths: 10 Traits & 4 SuperPowers of Empaths” (I relate to most, but not all info)
- “Six Habits Of Highly Empathic People” I left the following comment for this video:
This video has some helpful info, to include example stories of how empathy impacted humanity, and continues to do so; however, the continuous static throughout it was distracting and somewhat unpleasant to listen to.
I highly resonate with the importance of experiencing (experiential knowledge/wisdom) deep empathy, and taking action from unconditional love (for self and interconnected Life throughout this Universe and beyond).
What I no longer resonate with is: victim mentality (which stems from the mistrust that Spirit within all of Life makes no mistakes), needing to often rescue rather than simply help others at times (becoming a permanent crutch that disempowers others), and the us vs them separation consciousness.
- 10 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Mess with an Empath, EVER“ I left the following comment for this video:
Thank you for sharing. Pretty spot on info, but not all empaths ‘run away’ from fear-based challenges, to include so-called negative people, especially if they work with them, live in the same neighborhood, or share any other space.
Granted, it’s highly beneficial for us all to practice unconditional love for more and more aspects of self/Self (Soul/Spirit within) on a daily basis—which includes, but is not limited to, self-respect, self-compassion, maintaining healthy boundaries and being assertive—but we also have the power from within to transmute lower/denser energies as well. Incorporating humor into Life is a great tool.”
- “16 Things You’ll Notice When You’re In The Presence Of An Empath” I left the following comment for this video:
Thank you for sharing this spot on and helpful video! I was wondering why I experience shocks lately whenever I pet my cat named Shadow; but yet, when my husband pets her, he doesn’t get shocked.
I also find it intriguing that when I pet my kitten named Leo, I rarely experience shocks; perhaps it has something to do with our vibrational frequency at whatever moment(s).
I’ve also been experiencing shocks whenever I touch my car door, which has been happening for several years; but yet, my husband doesn’t experience them. I also go through brief phases where my labtop shut downs often, but when my husband handles it, it turns back on. I’ve read about this though.
Regarding empaths being sensitive to light, perhaps it’s too much artificial light?
Because I’m an ultra-sensitive empath, and I’ve been incorporating gradual and brief sun gazing for several years (ONLY if I FEEL like it while using intuition and discernment)—to the point where I can look directly at bright sunlight even at high elevation areas, and even during an eclipse (which is warned against)—and I continue to trust that it highly benefits the individual and collective spiritual evolution of Multidimensional self (physical self/selves)/Self (Soul/Spirit within) and interconnected Life (to include Mother Earth) since our eyes (more than any other body part) can most rapidly absorb higher cosmic frequencies, and our bodies have the ability to ground them.
- “10 Reasons Why Most Men Cannot Handle An Empath” I left the following comment for this video:
LOL ^_^ Thank you for sharing! As long as we—regardless of gender, sexual preference, and not just empaths—remember to unconditionally accept/embrace/ love more and more aspects of self (physical self)/Self (Soul/Spirit within), until we fall in love with the whole self/Self (True Love that starts from within), I trust that our perfect match will show up in our outer reality in Divine perfect timing and order mirroring our own completeness (integration of ALL aspects within polarity: light and dark, love and fear, right and wrong, etc.).
Therefore, whoever can’t handle intense authenticity, can simply carry on with their own path at their own pace, and we can wish them well from our hearts.
- “The Many Strange Behaviours Of An Authentic Empath” I left the following comment for this video:
Thank you for sharing some helpful info, especially how location can affect an empath and how empaths have a tendency to ignore their own problems due to often helping others.
I currently reside in Flagstaff, AZ, and ever since we moved here during the fall of last year, I’ve been experiencing a wider range of vibrations within the spectrum of the Love Frequency—from the very low vibration of fear to the very high vibration of compassion—especially very low/dense/”negative” energies.
I strongly sensed this was due to being surrounded by Native American nations who have experienced much trauma and other forms of severe human suffering throughout human history, and many have lost hope, faith, and trust in humanity.
I have no doubt that this aspect (the Native American theme) showing up in my outer reality during this time-frame is symbolic of the oppressed, repressed, suppressed and forgotten deep wounds within humanity.
As we notice, recognize, re-examine, unconditionally accept/embrace/love, acknowledge, integrate and heal our inner wounds, and integrate the once lost parts into the whole, I trust that our outer reality will mirror major changes on all levels of our being—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
The individual changes will automatically have a mega, tsunami-like effect on our collective consciousness.
I trust this phase of my spiritual growth and evolution is part of expanding one’s consciousness in order to integrate ALL interconnected parts into the whole/The One with Unconditional acceptance/embrace/love.
Therefore, though it’s beneficial to help others at times, it’s VERY important to accept, embrace, and even deeply love more and more aspects of the self (physical self)/Self (Soul/Spirit within) on a daily basis, which enables us to FULLY do so for interconnected Life/All That Is throughout this Universe and beyond.
In addition, I highly resonate with how Being an empath can empower us, rather than dis-empower us.
Though it’s highly beneficial to have some alone time—to recharge, reflect and remember more of our core essence—it’s also wise to balance it with participating in the outer world as a neutral Observer so that we can learn to deeply empathize with others.
When in the vibratory state of our I (God) AM (Goddess) Presence—aka Higher Self/Source/Soul/Spirit, etc.—we have the ability to transmute (raise the vibration of) so-called “negative”/lower/denser fear-based energies, rather than always be negatively affected by them (which can put us into dis-empowering victim mentality which stems from separation consciousness).
Also, if we witness a child or adult—who’s passive due to low self-worth and low self-esteem—being bullied by another, we have the choice, inner-strength, courage, and inner-power to intervene and assertively stand up for that person, showing them through our actions how it’s done.
My adoptive father showed me how to stand up for another when I was a child by stopping two, male teenagers from beating up another boy who was smaller than them. I wrote a post about it a while back titled, “Courage.”
As long as we can intuitively discern when to get involved, and when not to, we won’t have to worry about falling into rescue mode—the strong need to always help everyone and their mamas and grandmamas without having healthy boundaries—which can dis-empower another by becoming a permanent crutch for them.
And last but not least, we can go through the learning phase of needing protection, to include using crystals. However, at some point during our spiritual growth, we’ll realize that the mentality of needing protection in itself can be dis-empowering because it’s saying to the self, “There’s something OUT THERE that’s out to get me/to harm me/to hurt me” which gives our inner power away.
Ultimately (the bigger picture), there is no “bad guy” out there, but merely interconnected souls of The One playing the parts of “good guy” vs “bad guy” so that we can all explore the transition from duality to polarity within the physical world of planet Earth school, experience (especially powerful emotions), enjoy, learn, grow, and evolve on all levels, so that one magical day…we may re-member and Be our full-potential, Multidimensional self/Self—which includes, but is not limited to, Light (uplifting and empowering knowledge), Divine Unconditional Love, Divine Wisdom, Divine Power (power that’s not misused or abused), Inner-Peace, Abundance (in various forms), Joy (to include incorporating humor into Life), and Freedom.

- “Must SEE 🔥 The Crazy Wisdom of a Heyoka Empath | BeTheLight” I left the following comment for this video:
Note: The comment/story below was turned into the post, “The Power of Humor: Transform Shame to Reclaim,” with additional insights
Wow. Thank you so much for this very helpful video that’s refreshingly new to me (from an outside perspective), spot on, encouraging, uplifting, inspirational, empowering, and consciousness expanding (mind/heart opening).
Recently, I had a so-called disturbing experience. The old self would’ve felt so stressed out and ashamed of myself, but to my great surprise, I busted out laughing like a mad-woman.
I basically went into Whole Foods wearing underwear, and left without it. And no, it wasn’t due to some sexy scene, like in a TV show or movie, where a woman walks up to a man and whispers in his ear, “I’m not wearing panties.” I’ve never experienced that either.
While exploring the isles of the store, I felt an unexpected, quiet fart followed by a small squirt—something I had never experienced before in over 44 years of my life.
I rushed toward my husband in another isle and asked with urgency, “Where’s the restroom?” since he had just returned from it.
When I returned after 10 minutes or so, he asked with a smirk on his face, “Did you have a GNL (gambled and lost) ?” I told him that mine was a whole other category since it was a surprise.
My husband had shared with me a while back the stories behind GNL’s that some guys in the Army would joke about while participating in field exercises, and I wondered how that could happen.
Well, now I have an idea, and I can’t be judgy towards such “nasty” accidents, to include the elderly who have to start wearing depends at some point. Sh!+ happens.
After checking out, and speed walking out of the store, I couldn’t stop laughing my @$$ off, and my husband joined me. I got a good ab workout.
I shared with him that I had never imagined such a situation, but that I’m very grateful that I experienced the ability to incorporate humor, even into a so-called “negative” incident—transmuting a typical, low/dense fear-based energy into a very high vibration (like humor/laughter/joy). ^_^
