I shared the following long@$$, yet, highly beneficial comment (for self/others) for Victor Oddo’s video, “5 Things You Should Know About The SUPER Full Moon (May 7th, 2020)“:
Hi Victor, you may be too busy to read this last message, but I just wanted to share it with you since you’ve been so helpful over the years.
I often highly resonate with most of your messages, but when I saw this video yesterday morning, two things that you said caught my attention that didn’t feel so light.
And whenever I wonder about something, I receive an answer shortly after from Spirit within (sometimes as a particular series of amazing synchronicity, like the one below).
This morning, while reading an angel number message, I noticed an ad for a free Magick IQ Test (10 questions), which I immediately became excited about since it sounds like fun (a great sign that it resonates with your Higher Self), even though I’ve done it before a while back (but couldn’t recall the results).
And I’m very grateful that I followed my inner guidance, because I have no doubt that the “star” sign you mentioned within you video, as well as the “star” sign mentioned in this message, is part of this particular series of Divine Synchronicity.
Though “the desire to be a star” can be perceived by the spiritual community as something negative of the ego self, I actually resonate with what Teal Swan taught in one her videos—and that even your wife, Pattie, briefly talked about at the August Sedona retreat—and that’s the positive, Golden Shadow aspects of ourselves, rather than the “negative” shadow aspects that shadow work is mostly known for.
I trust that there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be a star, since it’s simply our Soul/Spirit/Higher Self’s opportunity to shine brightly. The brighter you shine, the more Light & Unconditional Love frequencies you can generously share with interconnected others.
Granted, there’s a difference between this love-based, heart desire of our Higher Self vs the fear-based ego energy of wanting to hog all the spotlight for the self, while not wanting others to shine brightly as well.
And example of the above is: One person enthusiastically shares their dream with another, and the latter’s non-verbal cues makes it very obvious that they’re not truly happy for this person, though they may say “polite” empty words as if they’re being supportive.
A True Star—who’s exalted state ego (Soul) is in alignment with their Spirit/Higher Self within—can sincerely, confidently, and generously CELEBRATE others’ successes, as well as their own, since one realizes there are more than enough to go around (since Light & Unconditional Love energies are unlimited).
I’m very grateful for all the loving and supportive open-mic comics I had a chance to meet, as well as the CONTRAST that I learned from being around open-mic comics who were the opposite—because the latter taught me who I DIDN’T want to become, and what I DIDN’T want to do to others.
They weren’t about healthy competition of sharing one’s unique, individual talent while also celebrating others, but the unhealthy competition—only wanting to shine themselves, being jealous, and not even paying attention to other comics on stage when it was their turn. Granted, this stems from their own deep fears.
Because I didn’t want to be around people like this, I discontinued performing open-mic comedy, especially after this one older woman (probably in her late 50’s or early 60’s)—who’s been doing open-mic comedy for over a couple of decades—-went off on me in front of others, criticizing me about what she disapproved of my performance.
I was thrown off by this unbelievable, new experience, so I didn’t say anything, but if this were to ever happen in the future, I would definitely not allow another to disrespect me like that again (regardless of their age, which is more than likely a cultural thing, since in Korea, we’re taught to respect the elders).
Anyhoo, I’ve been receiving more messages from Spirit recently to bounce back with open-mic comedy, and to at least continue creating sets and practice rehearsing them (since gatherings are still not a good idea during these times).
And sure enough, last night, I received another confirmation message (ultimately from Spirit within) via Dave Chappelle’s Netflix comedy special (where he received the Mark Twain prize).
Worldly prizes can be nice, and the comedy special was funny, but what deeply moved me was his soul-igniting, heartfelt, inspirational message towards the end of this show, that applies to all of us who desire to creatively express ourselves and share our gifts with interconnected Life within this world and beyond.

And Being a star doesn’t have to be Hollywood, some other celebrity, and/or highly respected earthly position. So why not gracefully EMBRACE this Divine gift! 😉
Also, I’m always grateful for great reminders, like decluttering, which my husband and I did yesterday as well, and it felt lighter as usual.
But as soon as a I woke up yesterday, I shared with him what I had learned from Teal, which is to create the habit of thinking, “I want to do ______because it’s beneficial” (which empowers us) rather than “I have to do _____to avoid the consequences” (which displaces our power).
Ex. I want to organize my home because it will feel so much lighter afterwards. And when we want to do something, there won’t be ANY need for dreading.
