The following is the first half of the comment that I shared for the video, “Incompatibility – In the External and Internal World – Teal Swan Synchronization Workshop“:
Teal and team, I’m grateful for the reminder that it’s truly liberating to NOT have to live within society’s limiting boxes, to include being concerned with others’ opinions and judgments when it comes to what we choose to wear. Even if Teal and team made a video one day of her simply wearing a workout t-shirt, or some 70’s disco outfit, I’d be like, “NICE!” ^_^ As long as we genuinely like or love what we wear—due to comfort, style, colors, design, wildness, sexiness, adventure, FUN, etc.—that’s all that matters.
However COMMA if we’re choosing what we wear…
– ONLY to get attention from others (e.g., wearing shoes that make our feet hurt because they’re in fashion)
– ONLY to manipulate and/or control others (e.g., wearing very low cut shirts that show excess cleavage and breasts to gain sexual attraction, and/or to intentionally make other women envious or jealous due to being extremely competitive)
– ONLY to please others (e.g., wearing acceptable clothes “appropriate” for an occasion)
– and ONLY to present a facade (e.g., wearing a shirt that has a message that doesn’t represent an inner-truth, like, “Support Cancer with a 5K Run” (when one smokes A LOT due to addiction)
…rather than simply wearing what we like and love to make ourselves happy, THEN we’re not being authentic and true to ourselves.

For the first time, I sent the full version of the above comment to Teal Swan’s “Ask Teal”—where you suggest a topic for an Ask Teal episode—mainly for the second half of the comment (in next post, “The Gift of Clarity for Certain Unknown/Shadow Aspects Within Self/Others“). I’m curious, and I would love to receive some answers.
