As the title of this post states, I feel that Being at peace with the presence or absence of fame is one of the ways of experiencing freedom.

The following is the intro for the video, “FAME (And The Human Ego) – Teal Swan –” (in teal font), along with my comment afterwards:
Fame, Famousness and Significance are all related and give us an internal look into to the Human Ego and how the desire for fame can even be dangerous. In our past and childhood if we weren’t shown the attention and love we deserved, there is a good chance seeking fame would be imbedded in our life’s purpose. If fame attracts you, you will need to ask yourself internal questions, what about fame that you want. Answering this question could determine whether you’d be happy making it or not.
Teal, thank you for sharing this thought-provoking video with some overall, helpful info. It helped me to better understand why you’ve often mentioned how famous you are, though I don’t recall any other famous person having the need to continually remind others that they’re famous.
I could be wrong, but it seems like you’re famous within the spiritual community (not necessarily including religions), but not the typical celebrity “famous” that humanity is familiar with in our world; however, the possibilities and probabilities are unlimited, and you have great potential.
Due to my lack of understanding before, I wondered if you were being arrogant during those times, making it seem like you were much more famous that you actually are; but I realized that’s there’s nothing wrong with dreaming BIG (and you’ve already accomplished much so far).
I’m reminded of the time when I worked at a preschool, and the main teacher and I noticed a five-year old girl standing in front of a mirror, just admiring herself in such an adorable way, and then confidently saying in a sassy manner, “Just like a princess.” Our mouths opened wide, we couldn’t stop smiling for a while, and we just wanted to give her a BEAR HUG (and we did as usual).
By the way, are you sure that Marilyn Monroe committed suicide?
And last but not least, I embrace the aspect of ourselves that wants to be famous, and if it miraculously happens, I will celebrate it and do my best to use this tool of fame to highly benefit self/others.
However, I’m also at peace if I never become famous, as long as I’m unconditionally loving multidimensional, whole self/others and enjoying life, which I feel is the ultimate success; I will also trust that it didn’t happen due to a lack or absence of desire in this subject area.
