I’ve been noticing patterns within 13 years, and one of them is the gift 💝of receiving and/or giving.
For instance, we may think that we’re simply checking out articles, blog posts, TikTok or YouTube videos, etc., to read or watch, only to discover that we can share our gifts as well (like helpful, positive feedback).
Yesterday, I decided to read some posts within the Medium app, since I chose to discontinue my brief, monthly subscription (though I enJOYed 🐸 the ride while it lasted).
Since I’ve been paying more attention to what I get excited 🤗 about (my passions ❤️🔥)—even to the smallest degree (part of “The Formula” taught by Bashar, channeled via Darryl Anka)—I checked out a few posts related to open-mic comedy.
The first post was a great reminder (screenshot below; you can click on it to read a much larger version, and then click the back arrow 🔙 on the top left of this page):
The second post (below screenshot) was pretty spot on, to include a mostly unsupportive audience of open-mic comedians, due to unnecessary jealousy or just lack of care.
Granted, every open-mic comedian has his or her own valid perceptions and perspectives (their unique individual experience); and then there’s the Collective experiences.
Plus, the writer’s post was a combo package of funny and sad—the latter because it was mostly true, and he seemed very exhausted from all of it (see my reply comment screenshot below):
And last but not least, the third post inspired me to start practicing and performing new, open-mic comedy sets, that I’ve been feeling excited about, but not so much performing on stage.
The guy who wrote the second post mentioned above NAILED IT when it comes to the main reason why I haven’t missed the typical, open-mic comedy club environment (though several have been FUN).
I shared the following comment for the lady who wrote the 3rd post (screenshots below of the post title and the writer; if she responds by tonight, I will add it further below):

The title of this post reminded me not to give up on one of my Soul’s
passions, open-mic comedy.
I sporadically did it as a hobby, but I haven’t been on stage in a while due to feeling demotivated, though I’ve continued to create sets whenever I felt inspired from within.
I’m not a seasoned open-mic comedian, but I do have some experience starting 2017, where I just went for it after receiving a huge download of ideas while in the shower 🚿.
It can be intimidating at times, especially the first time; but l noticed that with each performance, it gets easier.
Plus, the less I’m concerned or worried about what others may judge (or even not smile or laugh)—and the more I focus on simply having FUN —the more enJOYable the whole experience is.
You do have some very creative, funny material, more than I’ve witnessed from many open-mic performances within various states and cities (to include L.A., Dallas, Phoenix, and Las Vegas).
Your friends encouraging you to do open-mic comedy, is great, positive feedback for you to consider.
I trust that whenever you REALLY feel EXCITED about it (another great sign), you can tune into your always available:
inner courage 🐅, unapologetic attitude 🐈⬛, BOLD confidence 🦍, and the self-empowering mentality of, “This is who I am, and what I want to express 👩🏻🎤and share 🗣️👥, so enJOY or don’t, but I’m having fun Bi+CHE$! 😜”
Also, why not fully and gracefully embrace the “WEIRDO” 🤪 aspect?
After all, as we embrace (with grace 🕊️) more and more (ultimately neutral) aspects of our Full-Potential 🌱🪴🌿🌲🌳, Multidimensional 🦄, WHOLE Self (Divine within)/self (physical human self), the more we will experience Unconditional/True Love for Self/self/others/ interconnected 🕸️ Life 🌳🌼 of this world 🌏🌎🌍 and way beyond 🌌🌠♾️.
