For my husband’s 40th birthday, I imagined various ideas that could make his “40th” a special and memorable day.

A part of me was so excited by all the things I wished I could give him, ranging from a jazzy phone to a brand new car, and even a big surprise party that would blow him away.

However, the other part of me was sad because I knew that we should use our money for other things that supposedly take priority in life, like bills and saving up for some future rainy day (that may not even come).

I‘m still in the process of releasing this belief system of “lack” that I’ve been so deeply ingrained with since I was a child. However, thanks to teachers of the Law of Attraction, as well as other spiritual teachers, I’ve learned that continuously thinking and feeling positive thoughts (to include having material abundance), as well as focusing on positive images, helps us to attract and manifest these positive things into our realities.

One day, I look forward to having the experience of spiritual abundance, as well as material abundance. I deeply desire to  help others to remember their true selves, and to experience heaven on earth, which in turn will help me to remember myself and experience heaven on earth as well…since We Are All One.

Until then, I will do the best with who I am and what I have in the Moments of Now, and remember to be grateful for everything that I have already attracted to myself, whether negative or positive, since they are all my soul’s perfect creations to help me to remember who I truly am.

As I was trying to figure out what to give to my husband for his birthday, I remembered to ask my Angels, Archangels and Ascended Masters (working hand-in-hand with True Self, Higher, Self, Full Potential Self, God/Goddess, Source, All That Is, Spirit…whatever you choose to call your unlimited power) for help.

I soon had an idea to look up a positive poem that had to do with turning forty. I googled various ones that were unique, but none of them resonated with me.

Suddenly, I had another idea…that I should create a poem! However, a thought immediately popped into my head, “What kind of poem can you possibly write? A ‘Rose are red and violets are blue’ poem?”

I chose to entertain the idea of my limited ability to write meaningful poems, that my ego-self so graciously placed in my head; I laughed at it, and then proceeded to move on to a more positive thought.

I then noticed that I became very excited about writing my husband a poem. It never occurred to me to write anyone a poem before, but it seemed romantic and very personal.

I recalled one of Bashar’s video about Being excited, and intuitively sensed that the idea that was expressed by my mind and body as “excitement” was due to being in alignment with my soul.

So I baked my husband’s favorite Red Velvet cake, joyfully sang him “Happy Birthday!” and gave him the following gift/poem that was inspired and co-created by God and I:

Note: I asked my husband if he would mind if I shared it with others, so that we can remember together that gifts don’t necessarily have to be expensive or bought from a store. I wasn’t surprised that he didn’t mind at all, because he’s often more concerned about giving to others than receiving things himself, which is why I wish to give him everything his heart desires. I believe this poem fully expresses my heart’s deepest feelings for him, and I’m very grateful for this priceless gift.
