Let’s look out for the innocent in Life, like a Mama Bear 🐻.
While watching a comedy special the other day—Neal Brennan: Crazy Good (2024)—I found what the Dalai Lama had done that was controversial (in February of 2023), which I hadn’t heard about before.
By the way, Neal—“best known for co-creating and co-writing the Comedy Central series Chappelle’s Show with Dave Chappelle”—seems highly intelligent, creative, and talented, and has a very unique style of comedy, which is innovative.
The following is a related excerpt from Laugh a Little Transcripts:
People get upset when an important
religious figure falls like that.
I didn’t feel upset at all.
I felt, like, liberated.
I feel like if the Dalai Lama’s
a pedophile,
we can probably litter.
You know what I mean?
[audience laughing]
But I get why people are upset
about the Dalai Lama.
People need leaders, and a lot of leaders
are just worse than they’ve ever been.
You know, religious leaders are bad,
corporate leaders are bad,
political leaders seem pretty bad.
I wondered what exactly happened. And for a long time, whenever I wonder, the Universe shows me what I’m curious about.
I was searching for any videos and readings from body language experts and psychics regarding this incident, but didn’t see any.
But shortly afterwards, I realized that I didn’t give myself enough credit.
After all, I’ve been extensively trained in meticulously reading verbal expressions and nonverbal cues during various training while in the Army—to include Senior Interrogation training, deployment training with the oldest and most experienced civilian interrogator, and working with joint military forces.
In addition, my multidimensional, psychic abilities have been further activating—like an increasing number of awakening Souls—slowly, gradually, quickly, and even rapidly at times, throughout 5 decades, especially the past 13 years.
But I’m still grateful that I came upon a thought-provoking YouTube video below.
I shared the following 3 messages for YouTube video, “Teal Swan Comments on Recent News:The Dalai Lama” (and additional short stories and insights at the bottom of this post):
1 of 3 Comments Shared:
I wondered why this happened, and intended to be open-minded (with discernment) and open-hearted with (healthy boundaries), aka merged Heart/Mind.
So I watched the video multiple times, and paid close attention to nonverbal cues, and what I SENSED, mostly about the child, the Dalai Lama, and the surrounding laughter.
In addition, as a parent of adult children now, I asked how I would feel if that was my child in that situation; and would I feel completely comfortable if the Dalai Llama wanted my child to spend some days at the temple with him and his men.
What would a mother’s intuition say?
Teal, would you be completely comfortable if the Dalai Lama asked your son to “suck” or even kiss his tongue? Would your son be comfortable with that?
I had mixed feelings, because of: the child’s nonverbal cues, Dalai Lama’s firm hold of the child and his brief hesitation, and…
strangely, within the viral video, the laughter of the men in the background sounded eerie, though from a logical mind perspective, they were just being positive, joyful, and supportive.
Plus, from personal experiences, I had experienced as a child my mother briefly French kissing me while she was intoxicated.
I eventually forgave her because she was heavily drunk, was very lonely—since my adoptive father was hardly around due to “business trips”—and she didn’t mean to traumatize me (though it had disturbed me for a long time, like I had done something wrong).
And I noticed that even this child’s body language mirrored what I recall doing, which was to pull away a few times (a natural instinct when we’re NOT comfortable with whatever’s happening, despite the logical reasons behind it).
I completely understand the logic behind the playful Tibetan culture, and how things WERE for past generations.
But as we learned from human history, just because cultures have done things for generations—”whether positive or negative”—doesn’t necessarily mean that they continue to be beneficial over time.
For instance, when I was around 10 years, and started growing pubic hair in my private part area, my mother gathered my aunts, and they all observed and investigated as though I was some science experiment 😳, which made me even more uncomfortable than I already was 🫣, while going through puberty (which is a natural phase).
They didn’t mean any harm, and were actually playful about it—excited for me and amused by the development.
My Korean mother and aunts were not that aware of western culture and all its taboos; so it was understandable why they did what they did.
Back in their childhood days—which also applies to many within humanity—they didn’t have much to do with their spare time (especially with no TV and radios), so they probably gathered around entertaining themselves in various ways 😄.
But because generations can change, my sister-like cousins and I chose NOT do this to our children.
Why? Because we didn’t like such things done to us—despite well-meaning intentions of adults—and plus, TIMES HAD CHANGED.
So it’s not about using the excuse of, “Well, that’s been our culture, so the world should be aware that we only meant to be loving and playful.”
The Dalai Lama and his gang have traveled throughout the world and interacted with many cultures.
Were the Dalai Lama and his large support team completely ignorant and unaware to the fact that this tongue gesture—regardless of a boy kissing it or “sucking it—could be misinterpreted by humanity, especially by the western culture where pedophilia within the Catholic Church has been NO ancient Chinese secret?
I have read many comments by people who were outraged, and I can completely understand where they’re coming from.
There were even those who shared great points, that if general society supports such public displays of a non-family member asking a child to do the tongue thing, couldn’t that lead to other things behind closed doors (like asking a child to kiss, or suck a man’s penis).
It’s something to ponder since children are so vulnerable and impressionable.
Unfortunately, children around the world who witness such moments applauded and approved by society, can easily develop a false belief.
And that is, when a trusted adult tells a child to kiss, touch, or “suck” (I get it was misinterpreted) the adult’s body part(s), then the child should do it (without questioning) in order to gain acceptance and approval by society, especially their approving parents who trusts the other adult (even if it makes the child uncomfortable to whatever degree).
I wonder how this child truly felt; and NOT his “correct” answer in order to please his parents, and the rest of society.
MANY boys who have been molested by the Catholic Church were within a toxic environment where EVERYONE there basically approved of what was happening (because even looking the other way is approving of what’s happening).
Therefore, many children kept it to themselves in order to feel safe and secure, because it was them vs powerful adults/society whom their parents trusted.
JUST IN CASE there’s been questionable and/or corrupt things that have been going on, even with the Dalai Lama and/or the monks—and not just the Catholic Church and other religions—these perspectives need to be shared.
Because if there’s corruption, we need to Be a Voice for innocent children.
Just remember, many were SHOCKED about people like comedians like Bill Cosby and Luis C.K., and similar others
[Deleted further details for the above paragraph due to comment being too long, to include: a comment I shared for a podcast that minimized Luis CK’s actions (shared at bottom of this post under subtitle, “Extra Related Stories & Insights”]
All perceptions and perspectives are VALID, so it’s just wise to EXPLORE different ones in order to EXPAND our individual and Collective Consciousness.
I understand that the Dalai Lama has apologized as well, and from one perspective, had he been aware that his words and actions wouldn’t be perceived as playful, perhaps he would not have done so in public. I don’t know.
But again, was highly intelligent and profoundly wise Dalai Lama—and his wise team of monks—truly UNAWARE that this tongue incident would be frowned upon by society?
Or can negative publicity be better than positive publicity at times?
When people speak of the Dalai Lama, many don’t dare to say anything negative about him, as if he doesn’t have any negative energies within him (but everyone does).
And I’m aware this goes against the grain, but I’ve even seen a video of him being irritated by a tween looking girl who simply asked him a question about om made padme hum; and he answered in a frustrated, patronizing way.
But yet, no one wants to talk about such things, only the positive.
But out of all people Teal, you know better since you’ve been teaching about authenticity and wholeness.
Did you ever wonder why the male-dominated, spiritual teachers don’t just apply to Christianity?
Are you aware that even within Buddhism—and other rigid religions and belief systems—there exists misogynist teachings?
Patriarchal energies has included a history of many red flags.
[Deleted this part due to comment being too long: Patriarchal energies has included a history of many red flags, to include male members of families—father, brother, uncle, family friend, etc.—molesting and/or habitually raping daughters (while mothers often suffered silently in order to keep the family together); so this pattern can be related.]
Plus, even the Dalai Lama said in an interview with Larry King a decade ago or so, that if there was a female Dalai Lama in the future, she would be more useful if she was beautiful, not ugly.
[Video, “A Female Dalai Lama? | Dalai Lama Interview | Larry King Now – Ora TV”]
He jokingly said it, but there are truths in jokes as well.
Unfortunately, this type of comment—by a highly influential, world leader—further exacerbates and spreads boxed-in, limiting, old belief that females are only valuable and useful if they’re beautiful, which isn’t true.
There are many forms of beauty. And there are also many females who are beautiful on the outside, but not so much on the inside.
So which qualifies one more to be a spiritual leader? Obviously inner beauty, though both is a bonus.
The Dalai Lama has been known to be the epitome of Compassion, and understandably so.
I have admired his child-like spirit at times, among many other wonderful qualities; but he’s also a human being as well (not just spiritual).
Teal, I get that you said this video was edited, but just as I shared with you about the video you also said was edited—“The Deep End” documentary about you (that was mostly negative)—despite the editing, there are STILL verbal expressions and nonverbal cues within the unedited parts of videos, that clearly show what they show.
As a conclusion, I’d like to give the Dalai Lama—and even others like Pope Francis—a benefit of a doubt, that they’re on a more merged Heart/Mind centered spiritual path.
[Deleted this part due to comment being too long: I’ve learned to accept more and more stuff of Life, from a neutral perspective, though that doesn’t mean that I necessarily agree with what doesn’t FEEL right/light.]
However COMMA I wouldn’t trust my children (if they were still small)—or anyone’s else’s children—to either one of the old farts (or anyone else whom I sense might be questionable to the slightest degree).
I’ve left limiting, often hypocritical, man-made religions back in 2001, that had too many red flags 🚩.
But even Pope Francis has seemed like a major upgrade from other popes in the past, though I still don’t care for or trust the Catholic Church.
Because there has been an excessive amount of corruption, lies, secrets, oppressing, and suppressing of much knowledge and wisdom from humanity throughout the ages.
And this has been revealing itself increasingly, and even rapidly at times, to the point where MANY are leaving MAN-MADE RELIGIONS.
I had a strong feeling that Teal Swan would have something to say about this—one of the aspects I respect and like about her; and sure enough, she did.
Thank you Teal . Continue SHINING 🌟⭐️ BRIGHT 🌅!

UPDATE: Just watched unedited version of this viral video [link further below]
as 🫵🏼 suggested Teal, I noticed EXTRA 🚩RED FLAGS (to include confirmations of what I shared earlier):
the strange SHIFT in the Dalai Lama’s vibrational frequency presence, the pause, the gulp, the look in DL’s eyes, the firm and controlling hold of the boy at times, the boy’s definite discomfort after initially being happy to see the DL, the eerie laughter in the background, along with the questionable guy who was defending him, who said all the “right” words, but FELT off.
And many people (not all), who seemed highly intuitive, discerning, reasonable, and wise, also noticed these red flags 🚩.
You may want to revisit that unedited video; and maybe even ask your own son’s transparently honest observations (without your bias).
Unedited Version of This Viral Video:
“Part 1: Stop Sensationalizing the Dalai Lama’s Innocent Interactions | A Tibetan’s Perspective.”

Last Update (Comment 3 of 3): I wasn’t planning on further observing, deeply pondering, extensively journaling, keenly analyzing, and gaining further insights for this matter; but I’m very grateful I did.
I still don’t know the whole, 100% truth, but I have a much stronger sense of what happened overall.
And I have unshakable faith in the highest of powers (and NOT in a religious way), that if there was, indeed, an ill-intention towards this innocent child (and even others)—and especially if there was (and still is) corruption—the truths will be further revealed in Divine perfect timing and order.
A while back, I had even strongly sensed that Harvey Weinstein’s reality would come crashing down; and it did, which was REFRESHING.
This is NOT to imply that the DL is in the same boat, but who knows since this ass-backwards world is full of some CRAzyass surprises.
Anyhoo, though I don’t agree with everything you expressed in this video, thank you 🙏Teal, for expressing your own inner truths, that can be very challenging to do when going against the grain.
It takes A LOT of Courage to Be Authentic/WHOLE, Transparently Honest, BOLD, Assertive, Straightforward, and vocally Expressive as a woman in a male-dominated world; but you’ve stood your ground with much inner-strength.
Though I haven’t always agreed with what you taught (and still don’t)—which applies to other Soul Teachers I overall respect and admire as well—I’ve actually sporadically learned some very helpful knowledge and profound wisdom from you for over a decade, especially one of your video messages to NOT “throw out the baby with the bath water.”
And since then, I’ve been doing my best to continue following my inner guidance/Heart/intuition/inner-wisdom/insights/and other psychic abilities and love-based energies FIRST AND FOREMOST—”only taking onboard what highly resonates, and discarding the rest.
Like less than 10 or so other YouTube channels that I occasionally visit—while open to new ones at times—I watch your videos whenever I feel drawn to them from within.
And as I’ve shared before, I still appreciate your precious existence and your invaluable, love-based contributions to humanity and beyond.

Side Note: By the way, the intent here is NOT to cause further separation—since it’s highly beneficial for interconnected Life for us to forgive self/others—but it’s to IGNITE 🕯️AWARENESS.
Regarding one of the well-known celebrities —mentioned further above—who shocked humanity:
A while back, I was tuned into a vibrational frequency channel that I had never experienced before because I was intuitively drawn to it.
It s nutshell, it was a podcast that included Bill Burr, the Latino comedian who looks like a white guy with beard, and some female.
Part of their conversation was centered around MINIMIZING what Loui CK had done with the women he masturbated in front of during their interview.
I don’t recall what I had shared verbatim, but I do remember sharing that yes, everyone should have chances to change and become better versions of themselves, and not allow “mistakes” in life to destroy one’s career.
However COMMA it’s also NOT about minimizing what happened—sweeping it under the rug (what’s been done throughout human history)—because how would they feel if they had a daughter(s), and some JACKASS did the same to them.
Not too long afterwards, I found out that Bill Burr had a daughter.
Perhaps I had wished he had—as well as the other bearded, teletubby-lucky charms looking dude—so that he’d be able to deeply empathize with his FEELING Heart, rather than merely sympathize with his logical mind.
My former husband—now harmonious partner/Soul brother/good friend—and I have enjoyed all of Bill Burr’s comedy specials over the years.
And this was despite some red flags things that he says as well, which I’ve grown to embrace (like many other comedians).
Because overall, he is highly creative, talented, intelligent and hilarious.
And he’s even said shared some Soul-igniting, heartfelt bits, which I trust was part of his own expanding consciousness.

Other examples of why it’s not always beneficial for society to just embrace generations of cultural ways :
Though there have been a history of pedophiles within the Catholic Church, for whatever reason, the most powerful, influential and wealthy organization of leaders were NOT able to find an effective solution to this CHRONIC PROBLEM.
Why? Perhaps it was NOT that big of a problem in the Catholic Church culture, though they seemed to play along with concerns and action steps.
I have no doubt, that if the Catholic Church truly wanted to END something, they would do it PERIOD; but apparently, it wasn’t a priority.
Back in the day, it was also accepted for the Catholic Church members to use torture devices for those who didn’t comply—even displayed at a museum—to stick up women’s vaginas, as well as men’s back side.
Do your own research if you’re curious—even if it’s the basics—and you’ll be shocked, surprised, delighted, and/or relieved (because your Spirit & Soul knows).

Funny how I naively believed for the longest time, that all Buddhists are so peaceful, loving, and pure hearted—unlike the many within Christianity (though I’ve known a handful of Christians who were great representatives of Jesus’ love-based teachings)
Anyhoo, though I was naive to believing that all Buddhists are seemingly positive vibes only, I experienced some Buddhists in person who had a so-called dark side.
And I recognized this gift from the Universe, in order to NOT remain stuck within the extreme polarities, especially right and wrong, good and bad, positive and negative, and light and dark.
I’ve also shared at least a few posts about the loving Buddhists I’ve known and met, to include personal stories of one of my Korean, elderly aunts who passed away from cancer the fall of last year, who was a Buddhist monk for most of her life.
Is It True? 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t mind doing some research at times, for whatever I’m curious about, interested in, passionate about, LOVE 🥰, and excited about.
However COMMA to research the following unknown information—keywords and phrases within screenshots below—can easily become an exhausting 😵, overtime job which doesn’t sound fun to me.
Therefore, I’m going to choose the effortless approach 🏞️🌅🪼🫠, and trust that the Universe will SHOW ME whatever I need to know in Divine perfect timing and order.
Whatever belongs to me 🕊️🐲|🐮🐯|💖 shall come to me…

The story of Larry (screenshots above)—who abused his professional position and power (meant for helping humanity)—instantly reminded me of a story I think I shared within this blog.
It was back in 1996 or 1997, at Lemoore, California, where my first/ex-husband was stationed at as a U.S. Marine.
I had an annual, women’s appointment to get a Pap smear test.
A tall, muscular, redheaded, unwelcoming male—who had a stoic, pale, facial expression—jammed his two sausage fingers up my vagina while “examining” me, which I had never experienced before; and it hurt.
