Bobbie didn’t find out until about six months after she had her first baby. Her mother and her Korean relatives didn’t want to deliver bad news right after she gave birth. Bobbie had like thirty Korean cousins, but she was only close to three of them…who were like her sisters. The youngest one of the three was in her late teens when she drank three bottles of Soju and jumped off a ten-story building. She apparently made it clear that she was stressed. Afterall, her father had recently passed away after suffering from cancer. She even mentioned to Bobbie’s aunt (her mother) that she wanted to die. Bobbie’s aunt, out of anger (hot temper) shouted, “Go ahead then!” So typical for some Korean, bad-tempered mothers to say some bullshit just because they’re pissed. Bobbie’s aunt couldn’t take back that shit. Bobbie felt resentment towards her aunt for the longest time. Bobbie even blamed herself for not noticing the signs and not calling her enough. She couldn’t believe that her cousin commited suicide.
