I recently saw a large spider that created a temporary home in-between our backyard glass and screen door.
After my husband pointed her out, I looked up its physical description and found out that it was a rabid wolf spider, which I’ve never heard of or seen before.
As I looked into her tiny face, which seemed to be observing me as well, I felt as though I was lost in the moment. After staring at her for a while, I said silently (telepathically), “Namaste.”
One day, when I was in a silly mood, I visited the spider and said jokingly, “Wake up spark of Prime Creator! Remember your essence.”

Within a few days, my husband and I saw a very large grasshopper, who also decided to make our glass and screen door to our backyard his safe-house.
I couldn’t help myself but to stare at this grampa grasshopper, the largest grasshopper I’d ever seen.
I decided to name him ‘grampa’ because while staring at him, I noticed that he seemed so ancient and out of this world. It makes sense since they’ve existed long before dinosaurs. I excitedly shouted to my husband , “Look! It seems like he has a mustache and beard.”
Like the spider, the grasshopper also looked right at me as though he was looking into my soul, and I communicated to him the same message that I conveyed to the spider.

The image above (on left) is identical to the face of the grasshopper; however, the body was different.
As I observed this large grasshopper, I noticed that it had brown and beige leopard-like spots and very long legs.
I did some research and it could be a bird grasshopper or a spur-throated grasshopper, or perhaps a hybrid.

For about two years, at our local park, my husband and I have noticed some exceptionally large butterflies, almost the size of small birds. They’re usually orange or yellow.
I had a feeling that they—along with the large grasshopper—-were part of the “New Earth” change that we’re going through.
I usually love taking pictures of nature with my husband’s iphone whenever we go to our local park, so it baffled me as to why I didn’t take a picture of the spider and grasshopper. I’m sure there’s a good reason.

For several days, the spider and the grasshopper seemed to be doing a distant dance along the screen door—always on opposite ends, but yet, switching sides from top to bottom and left to right.
I wondered if they were challenging one another (to defend their territory) or planning on eating one another; but to my surprise, day after day, they both remained on the screen door…as though they had agreed to coexist in the same space harmoniously.
If only we, humans, could do the same with a lot of other life forms on Earth and beyond—like living peacefully with cetaceans rather than hunt them for either sport, entertainment/business purposes (i.e., water parks), or because certain humans feel threatened by their magnificent and mysterious presence.

My husband figured that the spider and grasshopper chose to live in their new residence (inside our backyard screen door) so that they could protect themselves from predators, like birds, which made logical sense.
However, I’ve started setting foot on both Logical Land (land of my ego self/masculine energy/wounded child) as well as Heart World—as my Multidimensional Self—as I further explore my heart/Divine Feminine Energy/Higher Self, and work on integrating both aspects of me to become One/Balance.
I believe the brief, yet, intense moments with the spider and grasshopper triggered something deep within my soul.

I had a sudden urge to look up the meanings of these creatures because I sensed that they came into my life for a beneficial reason, just like many other animal spirits—which usually appear in my dream states—like the polar bear that I wrote about in my recent post.

I’m so grateful that I followed my intuition and inner-guidance, because it led me to the following messages that highly resonated with me, and applied to my current phase of soul growth (I also include some quotes from the readings):

I also looked up the meaning of wolf and leopard animal spirits, from the same website, since I had a feeling that there was also a good reason why they were that particular type of spider and grasshopper.
Once I followed my inner-guidance and received the messages from my Divinity within, the grasshopper disappeared. A few days later, after shedding its outer shell, the spider disappeared as well. I thanked them and wished them well.
I was glad that the grasshopper had left first; otherwise, I would’ve thought that it had eaten the spider, since the grasshopper was much bigger.

While thinking about them, I recalled that female insects are larger than male insects. So if that grasshopper was the largest I had ever seen, then more than likely…it was a female, not a “grampa.” Oops.
After this realization, I changed my post title which was initially called, “A Visit from Ms. Spider and Mr. Grasshopper.”
It then occurred to me that there was a very good reason why both the spider and grasshopper were noticeably larger than usual.
I was meant to realize that they represented the Divine feminine energy within me in form, sending me messages through Mother Nature.

Perhaps it’s more effective than telepathically communicating with me within me, for I may sometimes doubt the thoughts, inner-encouragements, insights, etc. that show up.
I may receive such outward messages (reflections of my inner reality) until I’m ready to receive them all from within, and have an unshakeable inner-knowing.
Whenever I’m out and about, and I happen to see a large bird(s) (hawk, eagle, vulture, etc.) soar above me, I have a feeling that it’s an aspect of my Higher Selves. It’s hard to tell the specific type of bird since they’re usually far above in the clear blue sky, but I can definitely tell they’re large.

I often thought that the large bird(s) may represent the Pleiadians—my Family of Light—who were known as “bird people” back in the day.
Recently, I also wondered if the birds also represented Archangel Michael energy, especially after recently resonating with the reading, “Arch. Michael’s Blue Ray Angel Number & Power Protection Grid for Empaths & Ultra Sensitives 10:10,“ to include the following italicized and quoted section that I came upon after seeing 10:10 recently (a repeating number synchronicity, along with 55 and many other double, triple. and quadruple numbers):

As I become more aware of my surroundings (i.e., people, other living creatures, places, events, situations, things, etc.)/my outer reality that reflects (and helps me to better understand) my inner reality, I’m able to experience more and more the inter-connectedness of everything; hence, increasing my unconditional acceptance and unconditional love for myself and others.
The amazing image (on left, right above) of the “Stellar Spire In The Eagle Nebula” appears to be Archangel Michael standing tall within our Universe, guarding us with much cosmic love. ^_^
